  1. Doh, no Idea how I missed that, thank you man I will take a look at that.
  2. Hey man, is this the one you were talking about? http://www.basspro.com/Marinco-ConnectPro-Plug/Receptacle-Kit-for-Trolling-Motors/product/23099/ Or do I not need both pieces.
  3. Hello everyone. My 42lb thrust motorguide's steering cable broke, which I am thinking is going to be a blessing in disguise. In NJ my primary lakes i fish in it are electric motors only, so I upgraded to a 70lb thrust Minn Kota Maxxus! I just need some help on a couple of things. First off I have three 12v batteries set up to ProMariner ProSport 20plus 3 bank 20 amp battery charger. I am under the impression I need to change to a 24 v system I run the + to + on circuit breaker then - circuit breaker to + on battery 1, - on battery 1 to + on battery 2 and - on battery 2 to - on the trolling motor. Please see my Imgur album http://imgur.com/a/Rbuk9 to see a diagram of what I am talking about and all pictures. My first question is when I connect battery 1 to battery 2 what wire am i using? Same for the - on the circuit breaker to + on battery 1. Do i need a specific circuit breaker or will the 50 amp one I bought at West Marine work? My next questions is I currently have a switch that has options 1, 1&2, and 2 this controls what battery my previous trolling motor was using. Do i need to do anything special with this? From what I understand there is no battery 1 or battery 2 they have formed a super batter now (24v). My next question is I have seen the Minn Kota power cords I believe which have 3 prongs based off the youtube videos I have watched. My power adapter is 4 prongs from my Motorguide motor. Do i need to purchase a new power adapter or do something completely different to make that work? I think that is everything, any help would be greatly appreciated guys.
  4. This is the same depth finder I have.. recently it has been giving me trouble turning on not sure why.. but it is absolutely perfect for the price when it finally turns on!
  5. Do this. I tied the 90 on my jig rod throwing 15 pound flouro. Just keep the rod rip high and it will plopp.
  6. I live in Jersey and all the lakes within 45 minutes of me are electric only, so it has been interesting getting the boat on the trailer with a rope or using the trolling motor only. Every time out on the water has been a learning experience. I have had so many random things go wrong, but most minuscule and looking back they are all hilarious and the good times outweigh the bad 100%.
  7. I feel like an idiot.. it immediately drained.
  8. Hey guys, I took my cover off my boat after four days of rain and there was a huge puddle in the middle of my boat. The drains were filled with water and when I turned the bilge on I heard a little splutter and some water came out, but all of it was not drained. I am assuming something is clogged, but I do not know how to go about fixing the clog. I think I attached the photo to give you guys a better idea of what I am talking about. Thank you for any help.
  9. Complete accident. I realized this today sitting at my desk at work then I just saw your comment today. How is tacklewarehouse with returns/exchanges?
  10. I got absolutely obsessed with dirty jigs last year. This year I am forcing myself to get into cranking after pulling in a ton of fish late fall with the lipless cranks. My last order was a ton of jerkbaits so I am going to be having fun with moving baits in the spring!
  11. You cannot go wrong with the Manasquan reservoir.
  12. Hey guys first post here after being a long time lurker. I am looking for a shaky head rod after not having much success on my abu garcia 6ft medium rod, I feel like abu's run a little heavier than advertised. I have looked at all the "best rod" threads and did not see anything specifically talking about shaky heads. Any tips or rod recommendations would be great. Thank you all.
