  1. I live in Central Florida my home lake is west lake toho. I've been fishing it my entire life and rarely go home dissapointed. Hell I fish the bank during sun down almost daily and catch 2-3 in an hour depending on the technique. Lately though I've been hiking through alot of woods to fish the back of a shallow creek. The fishing is tough back there but when I catch em it feels nice.
  2. I do alot of fishing. At least five days a week and I generally know where I can definitely catch em. lately though, I have been fishing spots I know are tough. like they can be caught but it takes a little extra if you know what I mean. I have enjoyed it alot. Every fish comes with excitement and a feeling of accomplishment. Am I the only guy who purposely fishes tough spots or does anyone else practice such behavior.
  3. No I haven't I'll have to give it a look
  4. No doubt. seems like I can get a bite going with them when nothing else is working.
  5. I'm going to check that out I was wondering.
  6. fished off the bank of toho today and caught a 6 lber off the boat Marina. The conditions are still rough water clarity is poor but the senko came through for me again, just in a bigger way.
  7. I've ran it all types of ways. I typically run a leader for a little piece of mind. I have noticed days that going from straight braid to a leader can make a difference in bite number.Other days they just hit everything you throw.
  8. 4lbs, decent size. Toho is full of biggins but when the conditions are like it's been it's a little tougher. when it gets that windy I usually fish the mouth of shingle creek. Never caught a real big one in the creek though but I catch keeper quality fish often enough.
  9. Went out today and the wind was definitely going after about 10 am. We hit the mouth of the creek and I caught 2 and a bowfin. I missed one early on a frog. Only thing I got bit on was a senko.
  10. Do it right and go down to kissimmee and fish west lake toho. You won't be sorry.
