If you were on a low budget and had the choice between buying mainly crankbaits or spinnerbaits, which would you choose. I have a good selection of plastics but im a little short in both these catagorys. Spinnerbaits have an advantage to me, because they are so versatile. Please give me some feedback, Thanks!
I regularly go to a pond in my hometown that is about 4 acres or so big. In the summer and spring the water is a little more stained and I can tear it up with some trick worms and spinnerbaits. But in the winter time the water gets very clear and I have had a pretty severe drought. I have tried some deep crankbaits and some Texas-Rigged Worms and Lizards of all colors but if you get close to the bottom your lure gets covered in algae. What would you try in this situation???
Any responses can help. Thanks!
