I store gulp in gasketted spill proof containers from grocery store square in shape with a lock tab on each side and lock together when stacked sort by size mixed colours no long term effects colours do not bleed or mix even allowing to freeze over winter in unheated garage it gets cold in Canada will not freeze solid turns to slush unsubmerged gulp ie tail out of slush will become less pliable but still usable liquid colour will darken and improve I believe evaporation makes it stronger smell small worms and leaches are my favourite up here for smallmouth and incidental wallie for supper
