Picked up an Okuma Citrix 364a for a complete steal locally. Looking forward to trying it out here this weekend.

Most jerseys are sublimated polyester which is completely machine wash and dry friendly. The one you had that messed up had to of been a manufacturer mistake as its a dye that is cured into the fabric almost like any other dyed garment. I run a screen printing shop and deal with sublimated garments on the daily. Kids love those digital camo sublimated shirts for little league.

I throw all my weightless plastics on a casting 7ft m/f abu veritas with micros with no problems, even down to stuff like baby brush hogs that have no real weight to them. Although I will say that I can definitely cast a 5" senko further than the baby brushhog. I do break out the spinning rod here and there though, which I use a 7ft m/f daiwa tatula.

The "what's new" video for tw called it a "finesse style Alabama rig" . Don't believe I'll be purchasing one.

I've racked up lately on stuff from academy. Bought 2 daiwa tatula spinning rods, a M and a ML, as well as 2 Casting rods , a Heavy fast and a M fast, for $40 a piece, 2 duckett 300s for $60 a piece, 6 Live target sun fishes for $3 a piece, 10 *** frogs for $2 a piece, owner hooks in various sizes for $.99 a pack, as well as way too many packs of soft plastics for dirt cheap and there's more, I just don't even remember what all I bought. I went a little crazy haha.

I grabbed a bunch of the megabass spark shad the other day since my bps was running a sale. Loving the action on them, but haven't gotten to fully fish them yet. I typically use keitech fats, havoc grasspigs, and zoom swimming flukes.

Sorry to have made you run out for a deal that wasn't real. I thought they were on closeout for some reason since all of the spinning rods they had were marked way down. I was thinking of clearing them out, but ended up just grabbing 2 of them.

Honestly, and I know I'm in the minority here, but never cared that much for lsu football, an i even went to the university. Fishing has always been my sport, so to say, and never really really cared for the rest. I appreciate the warm welcome though from everyone.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was storewide sale or if they just happened to mark all of the rods wrong somehow, which they made a big booboo if they did, but figured I'd give the heads up so someone else could get this deal if they could.

Not sure if this is for everywhere, but my local Academy had daiwa tatula spinning rods marked down to $38. Grabbed one for a new finesse setup.

Lurked for a long time, but just now getting to post. Been fishing since I was young. Mostly large mouth, but I do try to make a trip once a month to Lake P to get on some reds and specks. Always had a boat in the family to fish from, but as I get older, more relatives seem to be selling, so I suppose it's time to start looking for one myself as bank fishing isn't quite the same, which is what I've resorted to here lately just to get out on the water. Definitely fish every week, but when we start getting longer days, I'll be out every day after work.
