I love my megabass f3 1/2-63xgti for jerkbaits and crankbaits but really any moderate or moderate fast action rods work well for me.

it might be a bit above your price range but I use the *** *** and It is absolutely fantastic throwing light lures! I found mine for 240. it is the lightest reel I have ever held by far!

Hi everyone my name is matt and I am from Cincinnati ohio born and raised. I have been fishing all my life but I haven't really gotten into it seriously until a few years ago and now I am learning so much more about fishing techniques and equipment. I love fishing for northern pike I visit Canada very year for a fishing trip but waiting a whole year to fish again is way too long so I have started more bass fishing here in ohio. I am now getting into megabass fishing gear and reels I have 3 so far: lin black jungle, is73, and is79. I just acquired these all in the past few months and I love them and hope to get more so I am selling my other reels to swap them out for more megabass reels . that's a little about me and I hope to be a contributing member of this forum thanks!
