  1. Thanks for the replies! I will definitely look into to all this
  2. I am wanting to attach a seat on top of my bench seat on my 12 ft Jon boat. Problem is I can’t bolt anything because the seat is full of foam underneath. Any suggestions?
  3. Great information guys. Thanks for your inputs. Went out today and did really well on a 3/8 oz strike king red eye shad. Craw color. Water temp around 50.
  4. What conditions other than longer days and warming trends do you specifically look for when determining if the bass are in prespawn? What techniques are your favorite? Interested to hear what other people look for. Always learn something new and interesting on here.

    Don't forget about buzzbaits!!!
  6. I didn't even know 7/0 existed. I agree with 1/4 or 3/8 oz. pick your size based on conditions given, but don't be afraid to try something out of the box. You may be pleasantly surprised.
  7. Been fishing on the south fork Holston occasionally for smallies for a while now, anyone know of any other smallmouth rivers in the area?
  8. I use inline spinners almost exclusively in these types of rivers. Throw int the current and reel slowly as it drifts down. This technique has never failed me. Even in the dead of winter. 1/8 and 1/6 are my favorite sizes
  9. I like the Kvd finesse spinnerbaits. I use them on pressured lakes given the right conditions ( usually a little wind) and have great success on them. I like to use shad or bluegill imitating colors
  10. Never tried the glo line but spiderwire makes a very decent braid. I use the stealth and have no complaints. Should be good line

Mostly an arkie style jig. 3/8 and 1/2 oz mostly. Cover is mostly wood and rock

I have caught several nice bass on jigs but I spend more time snagged on the bottom than actually fishing them. I have stopped buying them because I keep losing them. Any tips on avoiding this?
