...Flouro problems!!!!!
Seguar Invizx is my go to. I absolutely love that line. I would also say get a line conditioner. It has blown me away what a few sprays of that on ur line can do.it make the line soooooo much more manageable and in my opinion does help with casting distance. Just spray it on the night before you’re gonna hit the water. U could use either reel magic or Kvd line conditioner they both seem the same to me. I would also suggest just saving up and buying a bulk spool of line. In the long run that will save you a lot of money.

Shimano baitcasting reel
Weight isn’t an issue for me. I was looking at the line capacity but I’m not overly concerned about that because I use backing on my reels. I kind of feel like if I’m really only going to get one more shimano I would rather go a little higher end. I’m a Abu guy for life but Shimano definitely peaks my interest.

Abu Garcia Alx 6.4:1
Has anyone used this reel and what are your thoughts on it in terms of distance, accuracy, casting light lure, how it holds up to Fishing pressure? Those are the kinds of things I’m interested in and any other thoughts you might have.

NE PA near the Milford area
Still learning about NE PA originally from NYC. I'm stuck on the banks because I don't have a boat yet. If their is anyone who can point me in the direction of some good bank fishing spots that would be greatly appreciated. If their is anyone willing to personally show me around that would be even more awesome. Either way tight lines and happy fishing!!!!

Still learning the Milford PA area
I'm still trying to find my way around this place lol. I lived in NYC for 32 years and I'm only 33. I'm trying to find some good guys to go fishing with since I'm not familiar with the areas or lakes around here. If anyone has space on thier boat or can point me to some good shore fishing spots that would be greatly appreciated.

New here From North NJ
Welcome! I think a good starting point as far as colors go is if the water is kind of clear with at least 2 ft of visibility green pumpkin or watermelon red flake are dynamite. If the water is muddy then black and blue is the go to. I keep it simple and its been tight lines for me.

Baitcaster spooling issue!!!!
Can anyone shed some light on this subject. Although I have kept tension on the line while spooling my baitcaster it still bunches up on the left side of the spool. This has happened on two or three of my baitcasters. Even when I let all of the line out back to the beginning and reel it all back on with tension it still seems to bunch up to the left side. Can somebody please help me with this. It is driving me nuts.

First baitcaster
I would get an Abu Garcia Promax reel. I think for the price point you're saying that reel is excellent. It's smooth and will definitely last you a long time. I would suggest also watch YouTube videos to gain further information on setting it up and casting it. Also watch videos on how to deal with birds nest. IMO until ur ready to hit the water and truly give it a go I would spoil it with some very cheap line you can find at Walmart for like 2 dollars and practice practice practice. Getting birds nest on the water when you're trying to fish is extremely annoying. It will still happen from time to time but it will be a lot less frequent. Once you have confidence in your gear I would spool it up with whatever choice of line you have confidence in me then go catch some hogs... Hope this helps... I'm faaaaar Tom now expert but I had a lot of growing pains when first starting out. If I had half this information I would have made as many mistakes as I did. Happy fishin!!!

worms and attractent spray?
If u ever want to get a scent that doubles as a dye get you some JJ's magic. It is the strongest most powerful scent I've ever smelled. It 100000% works. I have seen my catch rate skyrocket after applying that stuff and it stays on ur bait for what seems like an eternity. If you don't want to dye the bait get the clear one. The garlic scent will singe ur nose hairs.

Lake Lanier in GA
I will be heading down there in about a month for a little getaway. I don't have a boat and I have never been to this body of water. I was wondering if anybody could shed and light on this lake? Also if you have any tips about banks spots I might be able to fish to find some success on this lake? Furthermore do you know any area ponds that I might be able to visit just in case I don't have any success at the lake? Any infomation would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to be as prepared as possible so I don't have to scramble trying to find areas to fish once I arrive. Happy fishing and thanks in advance for all of your help.

But I don't know where to go to catch them. I went to Milford Beach before but didn't have any luck. I don't know any good access points to get to the water from. You still fishing or are you waiting for the weather to warm up?

That's about a half hr away from me. You must be close to Lake Wallenpaupack. If you ever want to get on the water together please don't hesitate to let me know.

That would be awesome thank you. I don't have a boat yet I'm working on that. But if you know any good bank fishing spot please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm very eager for this water to thaw so I can get back to what I love.
