Used this rod again with the chatterbait and caught this one. I’m loving this rod’s ability to keep decent fish pinned and it’s cast-ability is next level!

Caught a good one on the chatterbait today using the lews 5XD. Rod loaded perfect on my hookset and the backbone was there to boat flip her! 3.5-4 lb range

Went out on public water in Virginia yesterday and posted a 29.25 lb mega bag! 12 ounces shy of a DIRTY 30! All big baits on a lake that gets tons of pressure! A whole new level has been achieved for my bass fishing journey! I’m so jacked!

Got a 7.4 lb prespawner on a jerkbait. They were hitting it on a 3-4 second pause. She knocked the slack in my line. Virginia is turning out GIANTS this year.

Posted a 24.4 lb public water bag on the James river today in Virginia. Anchored by these 2 6 1/2 pounders. Killer jerkbait bite!

Finally got the winter to cooperate and stuck my first double digit of the year! Ole girl smashed the jerkbait on a 5 second pause. 25” and 10.52 lbs! Cheers y’all!

Jigs in 20+ feet of water got it done today on public water. Best 5 went 20 lbs 6 ounces! Virginia is on fire right now!

caught this 8.10 lb x 23” largemouth in Virginia on a 6” paddle tail swimbait with 8 OT weighted owner hook! Killer bite!

Today’s haul. 21.2 lbs best 5 anchored by this short, very stocky 7.4 lb butterball. Jerkbait on all bass (5-7 second pause).

My private lake has had them in Central VA for 15 years now in 6' max depth waters and the F1 Hybrid does very well. Even in the coldest VA winters they thrive. Hope this helps.

We actually went to Sandy. There was thin sheets of ice on the water when we got there... and most was melted by noon. Water temps were in the mid/upper 30's and very stained. We threw the kitchen sink at them (jerkbait, crankbait, jig, swimbaits, ned rig, etc) and got no bass. Saw 2 other boats and no one was catching them. Ended up with one catfish on the a-rig from my buddy. Very tough day. Makes the good days so much more worth it!!
