  4. She swam off just fine! And close to Richmond Va.
  5. The topwater frog bite was on today in Virginia! Missed one bigger than this but this 7.5 pounder hit it as soon as the frog landed. Awesome fight! Overcast and no wind = topwater heaven. Tight lines!!!

  9. This was actually my second best bass ever. PB for a jerkbait though! My biggest came in January of this year, at 9.3. on a keitech 4" swimbait w/ an underspin! Cheers and tight lines!!!!

  11. I think what makes it so great this time a year is that it mimicks a dying fish that's a super easy meal for any pre-spawn bass. I will be using this technique for the rest of my life! Jerk jerk jerk....pause. BAM! Cheers man.
  12. It was on 12 pound fluro, I had no net or help from the boat, until she was caught. Then another boat came by for pics! I was terrified she jumped 2 x's!

  14. Caught my PB jerkbait fish today. 2nd largest bass of my lifetime, definitely biggest on a jerkbait. 30 minutes before calling it a day. 9.0 23 1/4" Virginia Stud.
  15. Caught her today, 30 minutes before time to leave. 9.0 pound 23 1/4" Virginia GIANT on a rapala suspending jerkbait. Landed on 12 pound fluro with NO net or help. Amazing day.
  16. I broke 500 by April. So I'll say over 1,000 for sure. It was a great year, but I cannot wait to see what 2018 brings!
  17. This happened Monday, in Virginia. 3rd straight warming trend day after a ton of cold weather. Same fish, 2 pics. 24" 9.3 pound Florida strain STUD. My PB and most exciting fight in my 1 1/2 years of bass fishing. Underspin jig head with a 3.8" swim bait with boot tail. Still in shock! Tight lines.
  18. Got my new PB on Monday in Virginia. It was the 3rd straight warming trend day, got up to 66 degrees. I got her on an underspin jig head with a 3.8" swim bait, boot tail. She was 24" on the dot, and weighed 9.3 pounds!!!! I still have goosebumps.
