Bass fishing is best

Just wanted to introduce myself and express how unbelievably helpful I've found this site to be in my short time here. Freshwater and occasional fisherman either one I catch fish that real fisherman use as bait to catch their bait. 60% Pflueger fanboy 30% Shimano. I also appreciate the value of an Ugly Stick combo which makes up the last 10% Thanks for all the information and forgive me if I go on about the 3 companies listed.

I'm splitting hairs with this comment but I considered the same reel myself a few months ago. When you buy the 20 size Pflueger you get less bearings. I don't know for sure how that would affect the performance and overall durability but it would mess with my head in a strange way. Have you considered looking at the President XT instead? Only reason I mention it is with the trade in you would get $15 off instead of $10. It's a much nicer reel for the extra 20 bucks than the regular president and lighter. I own the 25 President XT and it is the perfect size IMO wouldn't go any smaller bearings or not particularly on a 7ft rod. Can BPS just order a President for you while still using the rebate?

All you will need to do is hold one in your hand and compare it to the regular president, it's lighter and a bit heavier duty(and I think the president is a fine reel). You will like the XT more. I've used mine for six months and it's my favorite spinning reel by a long shot. The cork handles are very nice and the paint job is pretty slick too. I can't say enough about this reel for the price. FYI the President Limited, and XT are the same reel minus a different paint job and handle. Toughest decision I have now is whether to buy another one or a supreme XT. I'm slowly becoming a fan boy.

Just picked up a Curado too at bps with the reel trade in it was only $119. I've been messing around with last few days and it is a pretty nice reel. For the price I paid it's worth every penny. IDK about the $179 price tag on it a month ago.

I've never used a Casitas but for $119 (same as the list price as the Casitas) you can pick up the Curado and a bit of a step up in quality. BPS has the Curado listed for only $149, trade in an old reel for $30 off. Only reason I mention this because I was going to pick the Casitas or Citica until I found out about this deal, and it's over in 3 days. It's a little lighter than the Curado and lower profile but I'd rather have the Curado over the long run.
