  1. Always saddens me to hear of someones premature death. Poor soul, that is no way to go Pay attention out there, captaining a boat isn't a game with safeties in place. One simple lack in attention can kill. Luckily it is fairly rare to be in a situation where a minor lack of attention will kill you, but NEVER forget it can happen. steps off soapbox
  2. My friends know this, I know this. I am not ashamed. I REALLY hate to get my boat wet.
  3. Cranks, rattletraps, swimbaits, and starting to see some luck on craw jigs. Mostly on moving bait right now though.
  4. Sounds like you are near me. On the main lakes your are seeing the bucks. In the next week or too if TVA stops jacking with the levels we are about to spawn. Been catching them with dirty/bloody tails, so they are makin beds I haven't fished any of the ponds around here but I would imagine they are doing the same. The water has been warming over the last couple of weeks. I know everything about how the moon affects fish brains... but I ain't tellin nobody!
  5. Thanks for the additional tips. I wouldn't be so concerned with cosmetic issues, but it's only a week old lol
  6. Thanks man. I looked for quite awhile at used boats, but I finally decided to get something new. I ain't getting any younger (and I wasn't finding anything or was too slow to get a good one lol) So far I couldn't be happier!
  7. My new Tracker 190 with a 115. First boat at 44
  8. Thanks for the ideas on the adapter plate I hadn't considered that. I can actually cut out a piece of black Lexan at work. The only idea I came up with was having 4 small dots vinyl cut and filling the holes with sealant and cover them. Color wouldn't be perfect but we have a grey vinyl and a cutter at work. Thanks again for the ideas, I think the plate would be the best idea.
  9. Thanks for the welcome. I will take a pic tomorrow while I am working on it. It is basically just screw holes in plastic. There will be 4 left exposed after the swap and it will bug me forever if I don't do something with them lol
  10. Hi folks, quick question. Tomorrow I am replacing my GPS unit with a new one and a RAM mount. The new mount has a smaller footprint which is going to leave the old screw holes exposed. Anyone have any tricks for filling/hiding them? This is all happening on the plastic beside the console. It is a tracker 190 for reference. Thanks for any tips!
