ABEC 5 Ceramic bearing upgrade.
Also Boca Bearing (http://www.bocabearings.com/) has a good selection of ball bearings for fishing reels. About 5 years ago I ordered a kit with 2 BB for my Shimano Citica 201B, less than $20, and I upgrade my reel, it feels better than Curado B, almost as BSF, best money I spent!!!

Looking for fishing partners in Fort Smith, AR.
Hey arkie guys, I have moved from South Florida to Fort Smith and I'm looking for local bass anglers to hear recommendations, recommendations and help to find fishing places around the area. I don't have a boat but I can share expenses with local boaters to fish in the area and participate as non boater in local tournaments. I had some luck fishing the ponds at Fort Chaffee and Lake Fort Smith, and that's it. Thanks guys,

"senko" or knockoff setup
I use BPS Stik-O's 5" with G-Loomis MH 6' Curado 201B Ande backcountry 12#, BPS XPS SuperLock hook 4/0. For finesse fishing I use BPS Stik-O 4" with St. Croix spinning rod M fast action and Sahara 2500 8# Berkley Vanish, BPS XPS Superlock hook 2/0. Senkos are good but more expensive, Stik-O works fine, the only difference with Senko is the price. Bass doesn't check the brand of the lures!!!

More Important to rig? Rod or Reel?
#1 rod #2 reel. Hi tech (high price) rod gives more sensitivity, is light so you can cast the whole day with less fatigue... Good reel = less problems, fewer birdnesting and easy casting... If I have $300 to spend, I will get $200 rod with $100 reel.

Re: topwater fishing
Cultiva Zip'n'ziggy is my favorite, Sammy is great, Horny Toad is the best in the right spot: grass, lots of cover, on top of hydrilla. Rgds and Happy New Year...
