  5. Gobbledog just cause sum 1 says that about fishing doesn't mean they don't fish a lot I bet not everytime you have been fishing you caught something.....its the fun and to some people a sport...I agree with Flukemaste 100% ;D
  6. Yeah I hate these dern cold fronts man....i'm ready to go to my local reservoir and tear em' up...but man I want it to be decent at least a cloud or two instead it's either raining or a cold front or I have to work....lol
  7. If I caught something everytime I went then it wouldn't be a sport...sometimes when I catch nothing it teaches me more, just be more selective...don't give up....study more and watch your fishin' shows and read up on magazines it will pay off I promise
  8. ain't that the truth....
  9. Just wonderin what is yalls go-to bait when it is steadly raining or lightly raining? And where would you look to find your fish at on a lake when it is raining??
  10. thanks man at least 1 person agrees....good luck brother ;D
  11. I mean if I saw sum 1 fishing in "one of my spot" I like to fish its cool cause they were there before me but if I was there first back off....you know what i'm sayin.... And yeah I may not catch crap when im there but at least wait to fish on that spot til I leave...respect is what its all about.
  12. JT i know i said that but i was just sayin if it did....they do go deep when water temp changes a lot so thats prob where they might be.....
  13. that white ice color is my favorite perfect color for a bait fish
  14. like cuttin pliers cuts wire but i use them to cut hooks ;D
  15. Fish the main channel you will find the bass there in that temp of water the fish are looking for cover in deep structure....
  16. change hooks like a wide gap hook or g-lock....I use a type of plier I have that can cut the hook out of a bass but if its too deep i cut the line eventually the hook will dissolve or work its way out...
  17. they will move off the beds into deeper water if the water temp decreases a lot like 20 degree difference then fishing won't be the same for awhile...try and fish over or near cover like downed trees and timber...good luck
  18. Colorado blade spinner bait either white, chartruse or both as a combination.....also crankbait lipless the same colors....white,chrome,light green, orange....good luck
  19. Well my best technique for this is if I can get the lure on the bank a little ways then slowly work it into the water then its pretty much a wrap....also cast 10 ft past the fish and work it slowly in front of them.... ;good luck
  20. about 2 and a half hours is the closest then there is one in Myrtle Beach about 4hrs away..
  21. fish the creeks that run into the lake....this gives you an oppertunity to also check out the type of cover that was in the water .....so when the water rises back up you have an idea of where to fish..
  22. tell me about it I lost my dern quad shad when a bass took it right off my line think i had a frail....damit....
  23. Man these days those weather men can't predict weather, I had fished last year and it was a beautiful day clouds were off and on until wind started to pick up clouds got dark and out poped a thunderstorm got out of the lake quick!
  24. Hey ENC, Glad to hear you're from NC too!
