  1. Bassmaster corrected what he said so chill....
  2. Yeah I agree that spinner bait helped me catch many over 2pounds this year ;D
  3. Steady pace mostly near brush or cover or laydowns...I fish them slow in spring and fast in summer.
  4. Could be but....you said you have a really small pond so there eating habbits are deffinatley diff then the lake...does your pond have any cover and just how big is the pond you're fishing? ???
  5. Shoreline in the morning or early months of summer and during the evenings....deep structure in middle of summer to late summer..
  6. Same bass has been caught in the pond that bassmaster and I fish....three times in the same area...think its on a bed.
  7. Well I def would want a boat if it was impossible to fish the bank but I dunno, man the bank can be a good factor during warm weather most fish will be all over the banks and the big boys come out also for thei first meal of the begging of warmer weather...like try getting out in your yard and practice your cast it helps me all the time ;D
  8. Confidence is one of my main focuses...well thoughtout process RW
  9. naw man sound gross can there be another way.....??
  10. Exactly, fish are pretty much diff across the US then over here in NC....so don't think what bassmaster is saying doesn't make since cause its true as can be.... come on over and see for yourself...
  11. Just make sure most of your lures don't stay in water over an extended amount of time... like if water gets into your tackle and the lure just sits in the water then the hooks will began to rust and lure my start to detererate..
  12. well put bassmaster I do agree : ;D
  13. Northern end...........tired of hearing this....not always true cause there could be trees blocking the suns rays or light to incubate the eggs to me its a part of the lake or pond that gets the most sun and where the water warms the fastest...its not always the northernend! :
  14. For the Lunker use BIG baits sumthin big attracts big fish sound like the lake has a lot of structure so try diff techniques: jig, trickworm, jerkbait, and spinnerbait mainly is what I would throw into the water in your situation.
  15. Mine is Usually right off tops Rip-Rap the rocks right off the Bridges.....its a great place to start then I work my way to find fallen timber or brush in the water sumthin that looks like its holding sum fish then il use all kinds of lures til I find out what the fish want....also sometimes near docks or grass....whatever I can find that mothernature has already put in the water....thanks!
  16. Ok the points are basically where the land runs off and gets deeper and deeper but its generally shallow for awhile....this is where most fish like to feel I like fishing the first points on a lake right when they give a sharp turn, there is usually a point or ledge fish will hold here...I use spinnerbaits or carolina rig it.
  17. Well for water color in my opinion...for clear water the bright colors work/ Muddy water nautral dark colors/ For Spinnerbaits, in muddy water goldblade and colorado blade if its cloudy....if iys sunny and water is Muddy prob willowleaf gold blade. Clear water go Silver blades....I like to use the quad shad when fish are aggressive.
  18. Yeah yall see what i mean.....
  19. Yeah but a good fisherman would have backed off...since it wasn't a tournement and he had the whole lake to fish...
  20. lol that a crazy situation....
  21. lol yeah it ticks me off I can't stand if someone fishes that close to me I mean the least they could do is wait til im done.
  22. When I was fishing out on my fav reservoir I hit up this cove on the north end of the lake and its a pretty good spot....anywayz I had been fishing there for about 45min and spoted a big bass about 5lbs and along came another fisherman...I was like I know hes not about to fish near me when there is this whole lake to fish....sure enough he did and caught the 5 I was workin on and it ticked me off, has anyone had a situation like this and what do you do if someone fishes near you when you were there first???
