I have been crazy busy. fished a couple ponds for a couple hours and managed only a few bits. hopefully come july I will have more free time again.

unfortunately it not just sponsored fisherman, my buddy and I have had that happen on numerous occasions. nothing like working a point not 20 yards off shore and having someone troll over your spot.

I can't stand slowing down. I will do it if I have to, but I prefer to be on the move. even when I slow down, I prefer to flip and punch.

What has been working for y'all? I have been sticking em on a chatterbait in ponds the last couple days. Green pumkin seems to be ticket.

Took a little bit of work, but I am finally in contact with a club called the Indy Bass Hustlers, hopefully I will be able to meet up with some of their people and see what they are all about soon.

There are large bass in westwood, but most "average" fisherman won't go and utilize the proper equipment to go where the bigger fish live. There is a ton of ultra thick vegetation on Westwood, I know some hogs have to survive up in that stuff.

I have sent emails to 2 different Indianapolis area clubs. I am hoping to here back from them soon. I have always been a little competitive, and definitely love learning and having fun. Hopefully I get a response soon or happen across someone in my area on here that can help.

Summit was rough on Saturday. The reports said they were on bed, but we definitely struggled to put anything together. Probably should have gone father south on the lake, as we stayed on the northern half most of the day, but not many guys were reporting anything good.

I think I am headed out to Westwood, Summit, or Prarie Creek tomorrow. Gotta finalize plans tonight. Hoping for a nice top water bite.

So I have tried to do as much research as possible before being repetitive, but I have some questions before I think about asking to join a bass club. 1. Do I have to fish all the tournaments if I join a club? 2. Should I be upfront with my ability when it comes to bass fishing when I email the club to get information? 3. I notice a lot of the clubs talk about their tournaments, but do they do anything else? 4. Do I need to do anything specifc if I am looking to join only as a co-angler? Thanks

I just ordered a HUK shirt, they said they should be more than long enough, but I can easily return if it isn't. They look awesome, so I hope it fits as good as it looks.

Typically, these fishing companies make stuff that is lighter weight. or at least "outdoors" companies. I have seen the HUK brand and the 3x is big enough for the chest, but length tends to be a problem. maybe I will email them and ask if they can give me a measurement on that.

So, I have a family friend who just had skin cancer removed from his fore arm. Never really thought about this, but he blames sun burns from hours fishing in the summer. I have and use a buff already, but I am in search of some nicer fishing UV shirts, problem is, I am 6'5" 300 lbs. I need big and tall stuff, and I have struggled to find and definitive Big and Tall gear designed with fishermen/women in mind. Anyone have any ideas?
