i wonder what would happen if you used a horny toad as a trailer for a buzzbait... something to try out for sure
  7. white for sure. but thats mostly because my mister twister twintail grubs and my berkley chunks are white. nothing looks cooler than a spinnerbait with a twintail grub.

    the super duper. 'nuff said
  9. also they can be used in any vertical situation. last summer i went on a camping trip in northern quebec, and there was this reservoir with a huge waterfall. the waterfall eroded the area so much that the water was too deep for my line to reach the bottom! in this kind of situation, the only thing you can use is something vertical. if i would've had these i would've caught me a salmon!

try the basirisky frog, it can be used as a buzzbait type lure and on surface algea. it's kinda both, and it's worth trying. when used like a buzzbait it will rock side to side and gurgle kind of like a jitterbug.

anything. try a carolina rigged lizard in the deeper parts and a shallow running crankbait/x-rap/topwater lure for the shallower parts. p.s but realy... anything should work p.p.s if there's any weeds or vegetation on top of the water, throw a frog out there!
  12. man this thing looks cool. it's a lure with huge hooks sticking out everywhere. meant for jigging. this thing looks perfect for ice fishing. http://www.rapala.com/products/luresdetail.cfm?modelName=jigging_rap&freshorsalt=Fresh also check out the big brother : http://www.rapala.com/products/luresdetail.cfm?modelName=jigging_shad_rap&freshorsalt=Fresh i'm hunting for these, and once my lake freezes over, it's ice fishing time!
  13. for lizards, you can carolina rig them and drag them on the bottom. that would be my suggestion. lots of the time the lizard does most of the action itself
  14. favorite lure company? i gotta say lucky craft
