well were not fighting over a record or anything so i'll stop it here. not a 3. not a 7. somewere in between. im just hoping to get bigger bass day by day. itll be awhile though because almost everylake around me has seen 10 ft of rise in the last couple days so the water is pure mud. which i hate fishing in

first jig bass is a good one! (pics)
well im not the arguing type but i gott defend this great fish/ the bottom bass was 22 inches long i measured it. and according to the calculator on this sight with a 12 inch girth which we didnt measure but im almost sure it was bigger because the fish was fat would equal out to 7.1 pounds. so 5 is generous. i guess the pics really dont do it justice

Where to fish frogs?
dude. thats awsome frog territory. throw my favorite. the sizmic frog. texas rig it weightless with a 4/0 hook and just keep reeling. just fast enough for the legs to kick. i reccomend watermellon or brown on top chartruese on bott and black. these should do the trick. goodluck

first jig bass is a good one! (pics)
well after many tries with the jig without any success i was ready to just throw them away. a friend and i decided to take his bass buster to a new pond we wanted to try. and there was lots of brush so i thought id give it a try one last time. well i caught about 10 fish. half on the jig and half on senkos. the 2 in the pics we guess at around 5-6 pounds. didnt bring the scale . brought one to the boat over 7 (which wouldve broke the old PB) most likely but it got off as my friend was grabbing it. to bad! but it was a great day and i love jig fishing now! feel free to guess what they weigh. PS-sorry for the white backround. our last pond was recognized and has been way over fished so gotta keep this place private.

If you could only use 1 lure ever again
id go with a seizmic frog in green pumkin. or if we only got one lure id go with a silver fox in a gold color

anyone every fished from one of these?
you could get a kayak for less and make it out alot further. those pontoons are more for drifting like rivers/creeks and stuff. paddling it is not that great. with a kayak you can get alot further and there stable aswell. check academys pelican castaway. its 400 and a great first kayak

well the bass are off the beds....
try a buzzbait. a friend and i killed them today on them. we caught 2-3 pounders out of a pond only known for half pounders. they loved em. i think it may work for you. we caught them all shallow over weeds and stuff. bass that were hiding under the weeds would explode up at them. most fun way ive ever fished

new pond brings big bass (pics)
found a new pond to hit recently and today was the first morning to see what the bass were like. caught 9 bass and 2 crappie.most were very small. all on a little spinner bait. this ponds very shallow and very little cover exept for algea all the way around so i was very surprised to pull a 6 pounder out (weighed it)! also caught a 3. and i swear i saw one feeding atleast 2 ft long and verry fat. im guessing anywere from 7.5 to 11 pounds. i hope to get him to prove it. they cant all be big:)

BAITCASTERS!!!
ive got the white cabelas reel with a nice rod for 80 bucks. it casts a mile. bass pro shops combos are hard to beat. great reel for the money. id go that route for sure

One less pond to fish.
sucks man. i feel ya. i had a pond that i could catch 25 bass a day at times on. its were i caught my PB. well it was empty during the cold winter when i fished it but this spring has ruined it. theres an old man that takes 4 five bass out a day. big pregnant ones aswell. some a-holes poor in there old car oil, and a bunch of others take the bass home to. lets just say i strugle to get a bite anymore. im really mad
