  9. cabelas brand has some strrrong garlic worms. left a bag open in the back of my car and a couple hours later the car smelt so strong
  10. how close to the top is it? you can roll a spinner bait just on top of it. ive also been doing god with very shallow diving cranks

  13. if you have a basspro around this is a great combo. only 150 bucks to. 8 bearing reel. a friend bought one and its perfect. casts a mile to. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_90575_100003001_100000000_100003000_100-3-1
  14. looks like buzzbait heaven to me. ive got a bunch of fish on a spro frog in open water over weeds like that. maybe a really shallow diving crankbait to.
  15. i was just using a small yellow wet fly. ive got alot more flies now and hope to get into some big boys soon
  16. well went fly fishing for the first time today and had alot of fun. caught a bunch of perch and 2 bass. both dinks but hey its a start. fly fishing is pretty tough but its tons of fun and i recommend everyone try it.
  17. well how i see it is you cant be disapointed even though you put the work in it. you put it in public water. its like dropping a 100 dollar bill in a subway how i see it. if someone finds it heck ya there gunna take it even if it has your name all over it. i sure fish others cover if i find it and i also put out cover. i try to place cover were no one fishes. like a completely baren bay without any boat ramps or anything near.
  18. a friend and i fish out of a bass buster and its great. its super stable and fits all of our gear perfectly. we just lift it out of his truck and drop it anywere any time. i wouldnt buy one new though. he got his with a trolling motor for 300 used. just look around. i really recomend one as a first boat
  19. there def for the thickest slop you can find. i caught one on top of some nasty stuff that i would have never guessed had bass. ive always used sizmic frogs but recently i was given a free sample of manns hardnose baits and have a new favorite. the hard nose is really great. caught 10 bass on just one bait the other day and could have caught more. i recomend to try them to anyone
  20. tiki sticks. great color selection and catch tons of fish
  21. black buzz bait and black jitterbug
  22. nice fish! just wonderin. how do you fish the jitterbug? and what colors do you reccomend?
  23. The thing I find interesting about your comment is that you caught a catfish on a topwater lure. I have never hear of catfish takeing topwater lures before. I head them takeing spinner baits and swimbaits but not topwater lures. That is very strange. crazy huh. i wasnt watching the line and i thought i had a huuge bass when my rod bent down! heres the pic. you can see the pop-r in its mouth
  24. i had the same thing happen to me with a catfish. caught it on a top water and when i went to take it out it jumped all over aand i had a hook in my thumb. well the day just started and no way was i gunna let it ruin my day. i bit into a pillow and ripped it out barb and everything. worst pain ever but hey...i love fishing to much
  25. here the link to the record bream. it actually is five pounds and so the record blue gill would be around 4 pounds acording to this site. http://www.kens-fishfarm.com/world-records/Default.asp
