Here's a general rule. Use dark baits on dark days and lighter baits on brighter days.

We were at lake Sam Rayburn or Rayburn as I call it, and we were fishing the bank, and I was using rat ta tat Whopper plopper and got no bites, but my dad was using phantom shad Whopper plopper, and he MISSED 2 fish.
