  1. They do look similar to a Rattlin' Rap but I've compared some pics and the body shape/design is slightly different. These ones have a small belly fin that I don't see on the Rattlin' Rap. Unless these are an older model that were different from newer models I see on Tackle Warehouse. These have been in my tackle box for probably 15 years.
  2. I found these lipless crankbaits in an old tackle box and I'm curious if anyone knows what they are. They don't have any branding on them but they do have some writing on top of the heads indicating model type. I can't make out all of the text though because part of it's in a fine cursive and I have trouble reading smaller cursive writing, but to me it looks like it says something like Uboat or Uloat. I've tried googling different terms but can't find any results. The larger blue one says U-"unknown text" D-II, the gold black back says U-"unknown text"-II, and the bleeding bait one at the bottom says U-"unknown text"-I. I haven't tried fishing them yet but they do have different attributes I can identify in hand. The blue one has a thumpier single-knock rattle, the gold has a more subtle two or three ball rattle, and the bleeding has a more erratic rattle with a bunch of tiny pellets inside. The bleeding one also has a two-pronged belly hook instead of a full treble like the other two. I'll take them out to the lake and experiment with them but I was hoping to be able to get a brand/model ID so I can look up the specs and see what purpose each one is specifically designed for.
  3. Awesome, thanks for the help! Yeah I figured they must've been discontinued a while ago. I remember those Sqwormers now that I'm seeing the package. I'll poke around on ebay to see if I can find some.
  4. Does anyone happen to remember what this soft plastic worm is called? It's from an old pack I bought many, many years ago but I no longer have the original bag. I know it's a Berkley from the branding on the tail, and it has two little notches cut out near the tail that give it a unique action. I've searched Berkley soft plastics at stores online and can't find it so I'm guessing it's a bait that went out of production long ago. I've had great success with them over the years but have used them sparingly to try and save them as long as I can. But unfortunately this is my last one. If I can figure out what the name is I was hoping I might be able to track some down, maybe on ebay or something. And if they're indeed out of production, does anyone know of any modern worms that are similar? Same goes for a comparable color in other baits. It's like a translucent pink/salmon with flecks of red and green glitter. I haven't been able to ID the color or find a worm in something similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Oh and I forgot to add that it's a smaller worm, around 4", not the usual 6"-7"
  5. I'll keep searching. I've found some listings on ebay but for used lures the current prices I'm finding seem awfully expensive. I wouldn't mind paying $15 for a pair brand new at the store, but not used ones that have signs of rust and I'm not sure how much use they've actually had. Thanks for the tip on the 1 minus, smalljaw67. Maybe I'll pick up one of those in the meantime until I can find a better deal on a Scout.
  6. I looked over the 2017 and 2018 catalogs and didn't see the Scout either. I'd rather not go the ebay route but it looks like that's the only option. Too bad Strike King stopped making them Thanks again for the help guys.
  7. Spence Scout, that's it! I've had the name on the tip of my tongue but just couldn't remember it. Thanks so much for the help! And yeah, the skirt's long gone. I've been using this guy for a long time so he's a little beat up Any idea if Strike King still makes these or are they out of production? (A quick Google search pulling up nothing but eBay listings leads me to believe the latter...)
  8. Does anyone happen to know the brand/model for this crankbait and if they are still sold somewhere? I've searched through pretty much every hard bait listing I can find on Amazon, Bass Pro Shops, and Cabela, but haven't had luck finding it anywhere. I bought it when I was younger--it's probably been at least 15 years ago now--so I can't remember the brand or name for it. It has a pretty unique design from everything else, with a narrow ovular body, concave eyes, and a metal lip that's bent up on the sides and looks kind of like a scoop. I've always had really great success with it down at the local lake and I wanted to see if I could find some additional colors to add to my tackle box. I'm fearing it's no longer in production, but hopefully I'm wrong. Any help identifying would be wonderful.
