Hey guys, I bought a new rod from Abu Garcia and was curious to know what the loop is used for on the rod closest to the reel. On most other other rods it's used to attach lure when storing but the loop is so flat on the rod, it's really hard to attach any type of lure. Is this in fact what it is there for? Any way to make it easier to attach lure? I attached a picture of it as well, thanks for your help.
