I'm wondering what I can use for reel oil. I have gun oil and mechanical oil. I was wondering if one of those would work for a substitute for reel oil.
So when I fish a frog the fish will hit it but the split second they hit it they spit it out. I've tried several colors and they all end up with the same result. I'm just looking for tips to make them hold on longer.
I bought my first jig a couple of weeks ago and didn't know much about them. I ended up buying a swim jig and didn't know how to use. I ended up dragging it on the bottom and I caught a lot of fish. It ended up getting snagged. After it got snagged I found out that I had the wrong kind of jig for how I was fishing. Now I'm wondering what kind of jig I should use for dragging on a soft bottom.
