  1. Not a spinning reel guy ,but got a tatula 2000 spinning reel for my girlfriend. Trying to figure out what rod to pair it with will be used for Texas rig worms,3/8 jig and jerk baits. $200-150 price range
  2. I am putting together a combo , it will be a rig for pitching 1/2 or so Oz jigs into real heavy cover (logs and such), maybe a little dock skipping and some casting of chatter baits. Having a rod built it's a 7'2" heavy fast. I was looking at this reel was wanting to know if it is suitable. I was also considering a steez sv tws. What's your thoughts?
  3. Thanks for the help did a little research and talked with a builder.

  5. I am looking for a rod to match up with a Daiwa Zillion SV. The primary use is going to be pitching/skipping/flipping 1/2 to 1 oz jigs into some of the nastiest logs and brush you have seen. I seriously lost 4 jigs in 5 hours, in a particular spot we call the beaver dam. It holds some sizeable fish. I want the length around 7'1", heavy and fast to rip them from their hole and on to the bank/boat. I also want super sensitive to distinguish between cover and bites. Light weight would be great also. What do you think?
