Portable anchor recommendation
You can get anchors at Walmart for cheap. They have those mushroom ones or the ones that open up and grab into the ground (not sure what to call them), and rope for them right in the same section at my Walmart. I think that would be a good option for you because if you decided you wanted to anchor deeper at some point, you could. They aren't very big at all. I have a big heavy duty one I keep in my bass boat in case of emergency and it fits right in one of my lockers with the rope coiled around it no problem.

New Boat Company announment Friday
I didn't join this forum until after I bought my Lund but one of the biggest things I've learned from it is I'm really freaking glad I bought a Lund

stereo recomendations
Where I'm from I haven't ever had to deal with other people fishing close enough to me to have their music bother me if they have any playing, I must be lucky

Lund Renegade Bass Boat
Swapped out the hook 3. It's looking way less awkward now. I had a new mechanic mount the in dash unit and he did an awesome job.

Show your ride...
That's a really cool boat. Looks like you could really customize it how you want it. I think a light bar would look sweet on the front of the console...

Solix 10 now available
Yeah I still would go with a helix over the solix right now because they have what appears to be most all the same features in a cheaper package...maybe a little bit worse of a screen resolution? And no 15'' screen. But either way, the helix mega imaging still is incredible.

55 lbs- Talon on a 1775 impact
If anyone stumbles upon a picture of the new 15' talon on a boat, or gets one themselves, post it! They are available to "build" now on minn kota's website and I'd like to know if they look too ridiculous or not at that height on a bass boat.- Jigging mode
From what I've learned about it it's used for "video game" fishing. You would use it if you were sitting still over some fish and wanted to drop something on them like a drop shot or a jig. It allows you to see your bait drop to the bottom, and I think if all the factors are right you can watch a fish take your bait. I guess since you are watching the graph the whole time and using it to know when to set the hook its like playing a video game, hence the nick-name.- Lund Pro Trak?? Helix 10 too big
Yeah I agree. What it is an electronics package that lund offers. Hook 3x, Minn Kota edge 45, and an onboard charger. The dealer told me when he set the boat up he had the beginner bass fishermen in mind. So far I've swapped out the edge, I'm removing the hook 3, and I have a bad feeling i'll have to switch up to a bigger charger to support all the electronics I'm putting on it cause i'll need another battery.- Lund Pro Trak?? Helix 10 too big
I haven't, I'm itching to get out there! Should be able to this weekend. And don't worry, I've got a helix 7 on the way to replace that lowrance unit!- Lund Renegade Bass Boat
Thanks, called both these places and I think i've got it figured out. It's way more complicated than I thought to get this stuff all set up.- Lund Pro Trak?? Helix 10 too big
- Lund Renegade Bass Boat
Hey guys, I recently bought a helix 10 mega si g2n unit to put in the console of my boat and it was too big, so I ram mounted it to the side which actually worked out fine. However, now I still have the big ugly plastic spot on my console with just a lowrance hook 3 in it. (came with the boat) I am now planning to pick up a helix 7 g2n with just gps and sonar, that way I can be watching my map on one unit and have SI/sonar/DI on my 10. I would consider leaving the hook 3 there to save money but I think I can render it pretty useless due to the fact that its transducer is still mounted on the transom directly next to my new transducer, so I think it will cause interference and I would have to have it turned off all the time anyway. What do I need to get in order for this setup to work? Just an ethernet cable to connect the two units? I plan on getting another helix for my bow over the winter as well, and that will have a trolling motor transducer but I will want to have it networked with my other two. Any advice?- Can't view hardly any pictures posted on here
I email myself the pictures I want to post because it gives you the option to select the size I kind of wish the website could handle regular size pictures it would make things a lot easier!- Lund Pro Trak?? Helix 10 too big
Anyone have any suggestions for what screws I should use on that plate?- Lund Pro Trak?? Helix 10 too big
I think I have found a solution to the problem. I ended up going into my Lund dealer and picking up a sport trak angled mounting plate. I installed it upside down into the pro trak and it actually came out fine. It feels extremely sturdy. From here I will get a ram mount and fasten that to the plate and I should be good to go.- Lund Pro Trak?? Helix 10 too big
I have a problem. I bought a helix 10 mega si g2n for my lund renegade and it won't fit in the console without some overly risky modifications. I decided that I am going to mount it off to the side of my console somehow and then get a helix 7 with just gps for my console to replace the little $80 unit thats in there now. Here is my question, where in the world can I find a mount to fit the Lund Pro Trak system? I wouldn't like to have to drill a mount in the boat somewhere if I don't have to, but there is hardly anything about Pro Trak anywhere that I can find. Any suggestions from you Lund guys?- Lund Renegade Bass Boat
Yeah that is nice. I have been pleasantly surprised by my 115 on the 1875. I wasn’t expecting a speed demon when I bought this boat but today on my way back to the boat launch a speedometer app on my phone that uses gps said I topped out at 52 mph. (I don’t have a gps on the console yet that tells me my speed.) Thats pretty good for an almost 19’ boat with a 115 I think. I had all my gear that I would normally fish with in the boat, and am still running the aluminum propellor that came on the outboard which is the mercury spit fire, 19p. I am interested to see what performance gains I would make by getting the spitfire x7, a stainless prop with the vent holes.- Can't view hardly any pictures posted on here

How can I change my settings so I can view all those photos that are right now unavailable due to "third party hosting" and photobucket and all that? I want to be able to see everyone's posts! Help please - Talon on a 1775 impact
