Jigs in Hydrilla
@papajoe222 @Catt thanks! How light of a shakey head do you recommend? I’m kind of new to everything so any recommendations or tips, throw them my way!

Remove split rings using snaps?
I always snap to the split ring and I will agree, sometimes the front hook will get hung on the line but it rarely happens. My favorite lures still catch just as many fish, I’ve tried snapping directly to the lure and snapping to the split ring.

Jigs in Hydrilla
Anyone have any favorite jigs for hydrilla? In the summer I catch most of my fish on a Texas rigged worm or ripping a lipless crankbait here at my home lake. It has pretty thick hydrilla in most of the lake. I seem to kind of be in a rut right now, not catching anything. I know they’re hanging out around the hydrilla mats because I can see them. Suggestions?

Using rivets on Zoom super fluke
https://www.***.com/fishing-tips/rigging-soft-jerkbaits-for-better-hookups/ Here is the link! Oops I see it didn’t work. You use the pop rivet as a line through connection to a treble hook.

Using rivets on Zoom super fluke
I saw an article today on this and I would love to try it. What size pop rivets do y’all recommend?

Drop shot help
Thank you so much! I couldn’t have asked for a better answer. I’ll definitely start with a smaller setup.

Drop shot help
I’ve been bass fishing for probably 5-6 years now. I’ve improved so much especially since I joined this site. I’ve always been most confident with Texas rigging. It was the first technique that I was successful at. I’m catching plenty of fish but I know to become a better angler I need to be more confident with different techniques. I’ve never tried the drop shot technique before. Can someone recommend a good setup to start with for a beginner? Hooks, weight, soft plastics, etc?

Reading recommendations
I’m looking for some book recommendations on bass fishing. I have read Kevin VanDam’s bass strategies. I’m always looking to gain more fishing knowledge. I do lots of reading on this site of course, just trying to see what good books are out there. Thanks!

Favorite fluorocarbon?
Thanks everyone. I think I might give the Invizx a try. I’ve been reading that a lot of people can’t tell much of a difference between the Invizx and the Red Label. Thoughts on that?

Favorite fluorocarbon?
What is everyone’s favorite fluorocarbon? I’ve been using vicious 12# for the past couple of years and have had good luck with it but I’m looking to try something different.
