What is everyone’s favorite fluorocarbon? I’ve been using vicious 12# for the past couple of years and have had good luck with it but I’m looking to try something different.

Tatsu is the top of the food chain for me and inviszx close behind.

On a side note, welcome aboard.

Thanks everyone. I think I might give the Invizx a try. I’ve been reading that a lot of people can’t tell much of a difference between the Invizx and the Red Label. Thoughts on that?

I've read that it's hard to tell the difference in abrazx and red label. Invizx is very supple and easy handling. Also has a good amount of stretch. Red label is great for the price but I think invizx is definitely a better choice. I just ordered some sunline assassin will review after time in the water

Tried a bunch but ended with Sunline Sniper. It is strong plus thinnest per # test.

Works for me too. I’ve also used BPS xps fluoro the last couple of years and it seems to work well for me, everything from 12 lb up to 20.

P-line 100%.  Almost identical to sniper but a better value.  I also like sniper.

I like hybrids over straight Fluoro. The knot strength is everything and hybrids excel in this area.

For low price and quality my favorite hybrid is Kastking Fluorokote.

When you compare FC line it's important to do it by line diameter in lieu of lb test.

To the best of my knowledge Vicious doesn't make FC line in old DuPont Louisiana facility, they import from someone else.  12 lb Vicious FC is .0133 dia., equal to Sunline 16 lb for example.

I use the Silver Thread fluro and have for years.....no complaints at all and the price is reasonable.  I've gone to almost all braid on all my reels so am mainly using for leaders.....it has done well.  Have caught a ton of big fish on the six....
