I fish crankbaits a lot. I’ll usually throw 2 different ones and if I don’t get bit in a hour or so, I’ll slow down and throw a jig or a worm.

Same price now as it was a few months ago when I ordered 3 reels from them.

I ordered a rod back in February and it was shipped USPS. Tracking said it was supposed to take 4 days to ship but it took 30 days. Had a couple of packages make it to my local distribution center and tracking say out for delivery, then the next day it’s in another state. Fed Ex is just as bad. Ordered a couple of Mustang PDFs and they were shipped separately. Received one of them 3 days later but never received the other one. I called Fed Ex and they lost it so I had to get a refund.

I’ve tried several brands of long sleeve sun shirts and I burn up in them. It’s shorts, short sleeves and flip flops for me.

I think it helps me catch more fish because of the slack line sensitivity. I’ve caught fish that I probably wouldn’t have detected the bite with mono or braid.

I have that model Tatula. It’s one of the best shallow to mid crankbait rods I’ve ever used.

Picked up my new Phoenix 819 ZXL today. It’s my first glass boat and can’t wait to get it on the water.

I have 2 of them. Swapped spools with a SV in one of them on my pitching setup. Really nice reels. I also just bought 2 Steez A2’s. So far I haven’t noticed much difference performance wise between the Steez and the Zillions.

I had about a foot of keel guard come loose on my Tracker. I used 3M 5200 and cut 2x4s to hold it in place. After that dried I ran a bead of clear Marine Silicone around the edge.

I put them on my Tracker 175. It was a great upgrade

USPS is awful. I ordered a rod on Feb 23, it was shipped Feb 24. I tracked it everyday and it went 3 weeks without a new scan. I received it on March 23. Fed Ex is just as bad. It was a jig for me. I had read online that black and blue was the color to throw. I fished a black and blue jig for about a hour every time I went fishing for at least 3 months with no luck. Then I decided I would experiment with different colors. I bought some PB&J and Green Pumpkin jigs and it was like a light switch turning on. Now the jig is one of my top confidence baits.

I’m so sorry for your loss. The only bad thing about pets is that they don’t live as long as we do.

Thanks for your feedback. I bought the Xbites for lighter stuff, mostly Texas rigs, occasionally a finesse jig. I use a Steez Power Pitch for most of my jig fishing.

What is your opinion on the X bites?

I haven’t had a chance to fish with it yet. I bought it for light Texas rigs and 1/4 to 3/8 compact jigs. I tied on a 3/16 weight and a baby brush hog and did some casting in the back yard. It’s got a really nice tip for throwing light baits for a heavy rod. It definitely doesn’t feel like a Heavy rod, more like a MH. I’ve heard it can feel mushy with 1/2 oz and up.I think it’s going to perfect for what I want it for. I’ll keep you updated.

Bought a Megabass P5 Destroyer X-Bites. Put one of my Zillion HD reels on it.

I throw a Lipless crankbait a lot and always have one tied on. I’ve caught a lot of big bass using with the Bill Lewis rattletrap with a straight retrieve. I’ve been using the Hammer Trap the past year and been catching a lot of fish with that too. If I want a yo-yo retrieve I’ll tie on a Spro Aruku shad.
