  1. I have the Zillion version of the Utility Player. 7’3 MH/F and I’ve been throwing 3/8 jigs and Texas rigs with it and love it. I’d imagine that the Steez version with the AGS guides is even better.
  2. They have AGS guides. I’ve been using a Steez power pitch and a Tatula elite with AGS guides for the last 2 years and no they don’t break easily. I highly recommend the Steez rods. They are very light and sensitive.
  3. I really liked my Tatula SV’s until I bought my first Zillion. Now I have replaced them all with Zillions.
  4. I used the MH Helium with NFC blank for light Trigs for several years until I broke the tip on it. I replaced it with the Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS 7’ med+ Brent Ehlers rod. It is perfect for 1/8 and 3/16 Texas rigs and very sensitive.
  5. I fish several types and brands but my favorite is the SPRO Fat Papa 55 in Bluegill color.
  6. West Marine has a bunch of sunglasses on sale. I just ordered a pair of Costa Tuna Alley with 580G lenses for 142.49
  7. I guarantee you he paid no more than $100 for it new
  8. Megabass 110 is the most expensive lures I have. Have several 3700 boxes of crankbaits that are now around $15 a piece.
  9. No, they didn’t charge me any extra. It just got held up for 2 days.
  10. I’d recommend going no lower than 55 if you want to stay with 12 volts. You’ll regret going smaller on a windy day.
  11. Music is the last thing I want to hear in the boat
  12. Ordered another Zillion from Digitaka last week. Was woken up from a phone call from Fed Ex customs this morning. The lady asked me if the package contained aluminum. Being half asleep and surprised by the phone call, I just said I don’t think so. Am I going to be charged another fee?
  13. Had a Tatula Sv on an older Zillion rod go over the side of the boat one time. That hurt for a while.
  14. Most of the time a steady retrieve. Sometimes I’ll pause and sweep the rod
  15. I throw a Lipless crankbait a lot. I’ve caught bass on multiple brands but I’ve caught the most and biggest bass on the original chrome Bill Lewis Rattletrap. Also threw a Hammer Trap some last year and did well.
  16. I ordered a reel last month and another one a couple weeks ago from Digitaka. Only had to pay a 10 percent tariff. Never had to pay a duty fee
  17. That sucks. I’ve ordered about 10 reels from Japan and never been charged a duty fee.
  18. I put a feeder out for the first time a couple weeks ago. Already have multiple species of birds flocking to it every morning and we really enjoy watching them.
  19. Tatula Elite Seth Feider jerkbait rod Falcon Cara Cranker Falcon Cara Deep Runner Falcon Cara Swim Jig rod 2 Daiwa Steez A 2s A bunch of crankbaits, too many to list 10 spools of P-Line Tactical FC that was 50 percent off Ordered a new Phoenix
  20. Lipless crankbait
  21. I use Hot Sauce on mine
  22. $40 for a spool of 12lb? No thanks. I’ll stick to my P-Line Tactical. Been using it for 6 years with no problems.
  23. I just bought a Cara 7’ Cranker. Haven’t fished with it yet but tied on a little John and tossed it some in the back yard. I’m really impressed with the build quality and how light it is. I’m probably gonna order a couple more.
  24. Ordered a Steez A2 from Digitaka last week. Just had to pay 10 percent tariff fee which was $31 I think. Tracking shows it shipped from Japan on Monday and it’s showing scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (Wednesday).
  25. Added Trick Steps to the Phoenix I just ordered.
