  1. What color S-Waver would be best for small ponds? I heard a lot of good things about the trout colors, but theres no trout in the bodies of water i fish. I thinking of getting I Know It or Bluegill. Are there any other colors i should consider getting?
  2. I feel like 7” would be a little overkill for the small ponds I fish. There aren’t many big fish over 4.5 pounds where I live.
  3. That’s pretty smart. Might help with muddy water around here.
  4. Oh yeah, I forgot about the S-waver. I was looking at that too. Which lure would you think would be the best out of the s-waver, gantaral, and I slide?
  5. I want to get one swimbait as my first “big” swimbait. Right now, I’m debating between the Megabass I Slide, Savage gear shine glide, and Jackall Gantarel. I live in South Jersey where there are not many big lakes. I mostly fish ponds and don’t have a boat, so I only have bank access. I’m just wondering which glidebait/swimbait between these three would be best suited towards me. I appreciate any feedback.
  6. I got a couple new baits from Tackle Warehouse. I also got two booyah pad crashers but they’re just not in the picture.
  7. Do you usually find the fish to be under the slop or more in open water? The small ponds seem to be the most affected. A live frog? How would you rig that thing?
  8. Thanks guys. I’ll try frogs as soon as I get my new batch from TW.
  9. How do you guys fish algae? All the ponds around me have been overrun by this slimy green algae. It’s not just on the surface either. It’s spread out all through the water column.
  10. Hey guys, I’ve been fishing ponds in Camden county recently and I wanted to ask if anybody has any suggestions. I know lakes have been mentioned but I, personally, enjoy pond fishing more.
  11. Do you know how to find deeper structure and cover while fishing from the bank?
  12. This is my case exactly. However, i did have some luck flipping weightless senkos in the little pockets. The lakes around me are absolutely filled with that snot grass and peeling off a pound of algae definetly makes fishing less fun.
  13. I had a pretty bad day of fishing today. It was really cold and one of my spinning reels broke. I tried everything and fished super slow like everybody says and still couldn’t catch anything for 5 hours. Does anyone have any tips for catching winter bass?
  14. So then it will be keyed washers. I’ll try the screen driver technique. Do you recommend prying it out or pushing it in?
  15. I’m not sure When I try pushing it in, all it does is create divets and dents in the washers.
  16. The drag to my spinning reel wasn't loosening so i decided to give it a look. I tried popping the drag washers out. The first two (soft one and metal one) came out easily. The third washer is stuck inside the spool. It is slightly titled so it is lodged inside. Any tips on how to get it out? I tried prying it out but it wouldn't budge.
  17. I was looking on amazon and I found paca chunks in Bama bug color. I was wondering if this is a good color for a black and blue jig.
  18. Is Bama Bug a good color for a black and blue jig?
