Yea I’ve caught multiple 4+ pounders at birchfield. Night fishing there is really productive

I’ve been to Laurel Acres a handful of times but haven’t caught anything sizable because it so pressured. I like the lakes by Birchfield way better. It’s right next to Laurel Acres but the fish are all big and it’s not the pressured.

Any good ponds near Voorhees? I don’t have a boat so I need to fish from shore.

Would you use tungsten putty if you were to tune a floating SS or only use tungsten when tuning a SK?

Is the Daiwa DX Heavy too heavy to throw 1 1/2 ounce baits like Gantarel jrs and s waver 168? I want to get a rod that can comfortably throw 1-4 ounce swimbaits but, I know rod companies exaggerate their weight limits. Am I better off getting a MedHeavy or heavy these baits.

Which is better for treble hook swimbaits. Cxx seems to brought up a lot but I’ve read that it has a lot of memory. That’s why I’m leaning more towards Izorline xxx or Big game.

I already have one but the first two guides and the top three inches already broke in a couple months. Yea, I have all treble hook swimbaits right now. I don’t know if I want to go that light in line. I fish from the bank and occasionally get stuck in trees. I kind of need a heavier line so I can rip it out.

Right now I’m fishing a S-waver 168, Jackall Gantarel jr., and a savage gear 3D bluegill. I’m probably going to be getting a bbz-1 rat, iSlide 135, and a magslowl. Nothing too big just yet.

Thank you for the suggestions. But for cxx I’ve heard that you would need a bigger reel to hold the line because it’s thicker or some thing like that. Is this true?

You’re right. Maybe not up to 2.5. I’m just dipping my toes into swimbait fishing and trying to get used to heavier baits. I already have a swaver 168, a savage gear 3D bluegill, and a Jackall Gantarel. I’m thinking of getting a islide 135 also. What brand line do you use? And you SHOULD fish swimbaits on Fluoro right?

I follow his YouTube channel also. I like the look and the price of the Browser but I don’t know if it will be too heavy of an action for jigs.
