Just what I wanted to hear! Thanks!!

Multipurpose rod for A-rigs, deep divers, and heavy punching
Would you have any reservations about using it for any of the techniques I mentioned? How is the sensitivity?? It's a fairly cheap rod so I'm not expecting a ton in that department.

Multipurpose rod for A-rigs, deep divers, and heavy punching
Looking at buying a heavy duty rod that will do several things. Throw a-rigs, deep divers and also punch mats and thick grass. Looking at the Okuma Guide Select 7'11" heavy. It is a moderate action so I feel fine with the cranks and even the Alabama rig, but punching I'm not so sure about. I know a lot of guys are going to a more moderate rod for punching to help keep the fish pinned against the mat. Anyone have any input or personal experience?? The rod is cheap and that is a big selling point. I've spent a lot here lately and looking for a budget rod. Thanks!

Upgrade bearing opinions
Looking to upgrade the bearings in my deep cranking setups. I have 2 Abu Orra winch and one has some age on it and I would like to to upgrade the bearing to get some extra distance to maximize the plugs full potential. Since I will be doing the older reel I might as well do both. Which brand do you guys see the most improvements in distance with? Boca, ZPI, etc? Will probably do full bearing sets. Spool, handle the whole deal.

Crankbait rod and reel
Maybe I've just been lucky but ive fished Abu reels for years and never had any problem with them in general. Now are they as nice and refined as say a Shimano Chronarch or curado or Daiwa Zillion or Tatula......absolutely NOT. Bit value reel for the money......absolutely yes(in my personal experience). Since I've experienced the wonders of higher end reels and micro module gears and spectacular drags on them I dnt fish the lower end Abu's anymore outside of the Orra winch and Orra Inshore. And price point is the only reason I fish those 2 reels. Do you have any experience with the Tatula SV TWS? I'm planning on ordering one in the next few weeks. 5.4:1 Will work just fine. Some guys I know even run higher like a 6.2:1 for mid depth and swear by that. But you should have no problems with that range.

Crankbait rod and reel
I have 2 of the Abu Orra winch reels. They are 5.4:1 ratio and hold a ton of line. I believe around 180yd of 12lb. 15lbs of drag. I absolutely love mine and still to this day can't believe the price I paid for them. Got my second on on sale for $49. The reel performs like a solid $150+ reel. I'm a Shimano and Daiwa guy but that little Orra is the best deep diver for the value I have ever fished. I may have just gotten lucky with the 2 I have but over 4 yrs on the first one and starting the 2nd on the latest one. IMO they are 100% worth it.

Recommendation for an Inshore bait caster reel
Abu orra2 inshore. Awesome reel. Big boy drag, tons of line capacity, sealed bearings and oversize brass gears. Not to mention since they have started an inshore model in the revo line, the Orra has gotten cheaper by the day. I got one in the mail last week brand new in the box for $71 to my door. Worth a look. But that makes the 3rd one for me lol

Anyone Use Fitzgerald Flippin Rods?
The owner is from around Tampa, 1.5hr north or so. Might have something to do with the Florida buzz......or they could be legit nice rods, maybe a combo of both.

Best line conditioner??
Good deal.

Best line conditioner??
Best all around line conditioner?? Braid, mono, fluoro, co-poly....the whole shebang. What improves manageability, castability, memory, life etc..... Interested in some opinions. Read tons of promising things on the KVD brand but on the fence.

NRX advice and Megabass vs NRX
anderb54 I also want a jig rod for tight quarters.......river banks, laydowns, docks and what not. All will be from the front of a bass boat. Catch is I'm not ready to buy 2 dedicated jig rods. I feel like I would rather have the shorter mobility and ease of a shorter rod (and still fish deep when the conditions call for it) than go long for leverage and hook sets in the longer version (be a pain in the rear in most of my bank pitching activities). Question is, which con could I work around easier...short rod great for in tight not so much for deep ledges or long rod great for deep ledges but not so much for close combat?? Leaning towards the shorter FMJ. Any opinions?

Stanley Spinnerbait Split Rings?
I think what he meant by this was buy the River2Sea in the 3/8 with whatever blades they have available then change out the blade or blades to the style and size of your liking.

Sinking braid info.
Looking for any info and opinions on sinking braid brands, pros and cons. Looking to try some on my crankbait rods (with a fluoro leader) and for my bottom contact setups. Spiderwire makes one in the Ultracast Fluoro Braid that looks promising. Any opinions on this or other brands?

G Rods Pro Bass line
Thank ya for your input, much appreciated.

NRX advice and Megabass vs NRX
I would say that the majority of what I will use it for will be light t rigs (3/16oz - 3/8oz) pitching river banks light cover. I will also use it for shaky head (1/8oz - 1/4oz) which is why I'm leaning towards the 3 power. Most jig work will be light as well (1/4oz - 3/8oz) the half oz would be very rare if at all. Just was wondering about the tip and how well it handles the lighter stuff in terms of skipping

G Rods Pro Bass line
Anyone here have any experience with the G Rod pro bass line? From what I have read the rod is very high quality and craftsmanship, crazy light, and top of the line sensitivity. The graphene in the rods allegedly makes them light, strong, and way sensitive but wondered if the claims are true or just a selling point. Sensitivity and balance are my top 2 priorities.

NRX advice and Megabass vs NRX
Need some opinions. Looking to buy the NRX 803c and wanted some feedback from guys experienced with it. Uses will be light t rigs and jigs 3/16 oz up to possible 1/2 oz. Flipping and pitching light cover and also skipping docks. Concern 1- Does the NRX 803c have enough of a tip to be able to skip docks and low hanging trees Concern 2- Does it have enough of a backbone to pull fish from under docks. I know it isn't a broom handle of a rod but will it do it? I'm also looking for a heavier power jig rod for deeper ledges. Will also throw Carolina rig. Trying to decide between the NRX 895c jwr and the Megabass Destroyer FMJ. Price won't play a role in my decision. I would rather spend more money and be pleased with my rods than save a $100 or so and wish I would have gone a different route.
