Favorite Blade Bait?
Thank you Scott! I just looked those up, some crazy looking colors. Might have to grab a few but the color choice may be difficult!

Anyone fishing Candlewood recently?
I was there on Saturday, 11/4. The water temp was 58-60 degrees. With all this cold coming through its definitely not that warm anymore. Did ok, not a lot of numbers but biggest smallie went 5.04. Ketiech was the way to go

Favorite Blade Bait?
Is that the only thing? Just curious because I also read that most people replace hooks/ split rings if there are any and downsize with short shanks for other blades

Favorite Blade Bait?
Thanks for your input! Quick question, why does the silver buddy automatically trump all the others for so many people? what is it about it that makes it so good?

Favorite Blade Bait?
In New England, it is finally getting colder. Water temps are getting <55 degrees. I know many people like a Silver Buddy. What other blade baits do you like to throw and why? Trying to figure this whole thing out to catch more fish this time of year, thank you!

tips for fall Smallmouth bass
55- 60 degress I often look at spinnerbaits or smaller squarebills. War Eagle Finesse is by far my favorite spinnerbait for this time of year. A lot of times a small jig will work too. (Keitech Jigs specifically)

Little cleo for late fall smallies
I am not from your area, but something that people tend to use here up north or either a Damiki Rig, or a Rapala Jigging Rap in open water. Sometimes the blade is just too much movement for them so it slows things down.

Smallmouth fishing at night?
100% a Black Spinnerbait with a single Colorado Blade is the best thing to use. I have had 30-40 fish nights easily on. it. Other topwater baits such as a Jackall Pompadour or a black buzz bait would work too

Suggestions for crawfish drop shot
The best drop shot craw I have seen yet is one that MANY people do not know about. If you want to go finesse, this is by far the drop shot craw to use. It is called the Meta Craw by Euro Tackle. Super small but tough to get a better craw imitation at this size.

How to find suspended smallmouth without idling around
This year a bait that really got some attention for suspended smallmouth bass in New England, specifically CT, was the Duo Realis Spinbait. Simply throw one of those guys out on 6 or 8 lb flouro, let it sink to the desired level (if any) then slowly real it in. When I say slow, I mean just about as slow as you can just because the bait has a shimmy while you retrieve it.

Casting or spinning small swimbait?
Definitely a spinning if you are throwing a 1/8 oz jig head. I throw keitechs on spinning rods all the way up to 3/8 oz then switch to a baitcaster.
