hey skeeter glad to see ya here! I have a extreme reel that I got for X mas and love it. It is very smooth, and they feel great in your hands. I also got the extreme rod with it and love that also for spinnerbaits, crankbaits and buzzbaits.

I use Mattlures baby bass. They have caught many bass for me, even some bass the same size of the lure lol. Sometimes I try Storm, but they dont seem to produce as much. tb
