  2. No from what I've seen its working fine. Not at high speeds. I don't where they mounted the transducer on the heritage. Looks to close to the outboard
  3. Ok ty was thinking about Lowrance® Hook2 7x TripleShot™ Sonar/GPS Combo. Instead. No navionics but I don't really need It but its bigger screen and in my budget. Comments?
  4. Yeah I would like bigger but the budget thing lol. Will the DI or any other features be negatively affected by mounting the transducer on the trolling motor?
  5. Ok I need some help. I just got my tracker heritage and it has the no so great but works for what it is hook3x on the dash. Looking to buy one for the trolling motor Lowrance® Hook2 5 SplitShot™ Sonar/GPS Combo with Navionics+ but I'm really not sure if I should put it on the dash or trolling motor. My train of thought is I spend 90% of the time at the trolling motor. The Lakes I fish aren't huge so the amount of time I spend behind the wheel is not that much. Advice please and thank you
  6. Well took my heritage home yesterday. Pretty excited. A couple of notes of interest I hope helps others. I took the hub caps off. They told me they have a tendency to fly off down the road. Another issue Is the trailer lights having issues. He recommend before you sink the trailer silicone the crap out of them. As far as my modifications go the service manager at my BPS told me to my face. He doesn't care about adding things will not void anything as long as you aren't completely inept and screw it up. The fish finder is crap. I want to change it but use the current transducer. But since the hook 3 is a discontinued item the pins don't match up with the New ones I need to find out if Lawrance makes a connector from old to new. I hope this helps
  7. I was told the deck warranty in the area of the do it myself work would be void. I was told 3yr warranty on the motor 5yrs on the deck lifetime on the hull. Unless they do all the installs
  8. I was told the deck warranty in the area of the do it myself work would be void. I was told 3yr warranty on the motor 5yrs on the deck lifetime on the hull. Unless they do all the installs. Yes from BPS.
  9. So as I posted before I'm picking up my boat on Saturday. I was informed if I put so much a a single screw in the deck the warranty is void. The will install everything but they want $100/hr not including the 120 mile round trip to get it there.
  10. Well got a call last Thursday my boat is in. I will be picking it up on Saturday 2/24.....I'm super excited
  11. As far as I know there isn't a spare tire. Looking at the lowrance hook2-4x for a $120 from cabela's. It's cheap enough so I don't care if it gets kicked but it has GPS so I can mark spots. Cabela's pro series 8amp. 2 banks for $120.
  12. Well I hope this can answer some questions. I just bought one. Went to bass pro because I thought it was to good to be true. It's not. Went through the one on the show room floor from bow to stern. What an amazing deal at that price point. The boat motor and trailer are beefy and solid. The color actually works very well. Comes with 40hp four stroke. The only upgrade available is trailer brakes. I have no idea why you would need trailer brakes for a 17' aluminum boat but whatever. I am truly amazed at the quality and features it has. And with the 400 gift card i can get the options i want like on board charger, extra fuel tank, spare tire, fish finder for the trolling motor. I highly recommend to see one you will not be disappointed. Mine won't be in till end of February or March . If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me
