Speed Question, 21' Triton w/225 Optimax
Having an issue with my 04 Tr-21x w a 225 opti as well, not sure what the original prop was, but we ran about 68 top speed, that prop has since been replaced and we now have a 26 pitch turbo, but we somehow run higher RPM 5900(which is too much) and only 55-60 top speed. I’m really not sure what is going on with this and it has me concerned, but the motor runs great, just not near the speed we had before. Any help would be appreciated

Dobyns LIGHT Flippin Stick
I will be buying a 765 FLIP for heavy stuff, also just curious, is there a champion level rod that would be solid for this technique? Slightly lighter flippin than what I’d do with 765? I’ve felt the 764 and that was a meat stick and felt more powerful than the 765 almost which isn’t necessarily what I want

Dobyns LIGHT Flippin Stick
Flippin like lighter cover from around 10-15 feet from boat like real light bushes nothing super thick.. that’s what I’m buying a fury 765 for, it’ll be like 3/8 oz weight max flippin creature baits into lighter bushes or lighter leafy areas that may be hanging over water.. again no heavy trees or bushes.. just basically a Texas rig rod for throwin in no slop A buddy of mine says the DX 744 would be a little soft but I’ve never felt one or tested one to be able to know..

Dobyns LIGHT Flippin Stick
I could possibly afford an Extreme, but that would be tougher for me to get than like a champion would be.. a buddy of mine said 763 champ would be not bad because it has a faster action

Dobyns LIGHT Flippin Stick
Would a 734 be too soft? One of my buddies has a 755 Xtasy and loves it and says it is perfect.. what rod would be the most similar to that rod

Dobyns LIGHT Flippin Stick
What Dobyns rod would be an ideal model for a lighter flippin stick, won’t be using this rod in thick slop or anything crazy thick, just around lighter smaller bushes and flipping around a 3/8 oz weight I’ve heard people tell me, champ 763, DX 745, and Sierra 734 any other suggestions?

Shimano Core vs Shimano Chronarch Ci4
Is the core 50 mg7 a true 50 size? And so the core is the way to go?

Shimano Core vs Shimano Chronarch Ci4
I’m also trading, but the guy I’m trading reels with said trade value for the two reels would be equal, just don’t know how good the cores are

Shimano Core vs Shimano Chronarch Ci4
Is the core 50 mg7 a true 50 size or is it larger than for example an aldebaran 50 spool

Shimano Core vs Shimano Chronarch Ci4
I have found a used Shimano Core 50mg7 for the same price as a brand new Chronarch Ci4.. could I get an input on what I should choose and why? Thanks guys!!

Dobyns Fury
How much does a Dobyns Fury 735 weigh in ounces? Just curious if anyone knows, I cannot find it anywhere

St Croix vs Dobyns
would a 7'4 MH avid x be a better jig rod, stalking bass? I don't really want to upgrade in Dobyns even though they make good rods and that is because I may be partnering with st Croix at some point and am trying to decide if switching from fury to the avid x for jigs would be a good choice
