I am going to siesta key early July, I am staying on this beach and I want to know where looks like a good place to fish, Does this appear to be a drop off on the end of the point in the channel?

I will be in siesta key FL in the end of July. I will be staying on a canal near the beach. How is the surf fishing? What could I catch in canal backing up to the house? Would a charter be a good option? If so what charter? Thank you!

I will be leaving for LA tomorrow, I would like to fish while I’m there so I’m gonna pack a rod. I will be staying at the ritz Carrollton and the Marriott, in Laguna beach, is there fresh or saltwater fishing around there? Good fishing this time of year? I just threw together a surf and freshwater tackle tray. All info appreciated.

Hello, I am looking into a new baitcaster for my 7’6 heavy daiwa Jupiter rod. I want a reel that can handle big carp, catfish, and bass. I have been looking into the concept z by 13 fishing and it seems to be a great option, anyone have any experience with this reel? Or suggestions on other reels?

Hello, I have a 7’6 h flipping rod I use for carp, frogging for bass, and inshore/surf. I need a new baitcaster for it, I want something that won’t break the bank. I am stuck between the abu Garcia orra inshore (130$) the quantum icon pt (58$) and the Quantum Accurist (119$) Has anyone used any of these? The icon pt seems to be pretty solid, it has 11 bb and saltgaurd protection and it’s very well priced.

Which do you prefer? The icon pt is on a sale at dicks for 59$ right now and retail is 119$ so I think I’m gonna pick it up

I am debating between the quantum icon pt and the acuirist. Anyone used either before? I will use it in the surf and for heavy bass applications on a 7’6 h rod. Thanks

Hello, I will be in Atlantis Bahamas in July and hope to fish. I am will bring some rods and maybe do some surf fishing? Is surf fishing there good? I would also like to do a charter, any recommendations??? Also how productive would a sportfish charter be as I have never had luck on a trolling sportfish charter? Should I stick to a charter for small snappers and such? Thanks any info on fishing paradise island is welcomed.

I will be in Naples FL in February and would like to fish, I am an experienced bass fisherman with some saltwater experience, I will only be there for a few days so fishing will be limited,I will be staying at Naples bay resort, I don’t wanna do a charter. Any spot recommendations? Or anyone know if fresh or salt is more productive there? I’m looking for maybe some snook, tarpon, peacocks or really whatever is biting. I am new to Carp fishing and currently have a bg 2500 on a 7 ft medium daiwa harrier, I use it for inshore and carp, I want a rod I can use for saltwater applications such as surf, pier, and small ponds for carp, I plan to pair with a daiwa saltwater regal bite and run reel, and suggestions on a rod? I am thinking about getting a ducket ghost rod, the 7 ft medium heavy casting version, I would use for jigs, crankbaits, chatterbaits etc...) any one have any experience with the ghost rod? Would you recommend it? I also need a reel for it, any recommendations on reels for it??

I recently moved to north Bethesda and I am a avid bass angler I am 14 and can’t drive and I can’t find anywhere with bass.
