  1. So me and a couple buddies decided to plan a last minute trip to Lake Fork for our spring break. We would likely be fishing March 12th, 13th, and 14th and plan on renting a boat down there. We are from Iowa so have never fished in a big bass lake such as Lake Fork. Looking at such a large lake on a map is very overwhelming and very different from Midwest lakes. So far we plan to get on the water and learn as we go. However I am looking for any information that might point us in the right direction. Any insight to what kind of habitat to look for, what types of lures and colors to fish that time of year, and what difference we can expect compared to fishing in the Midwest. Any other information you can add would also be welcome as we are going in fairly blind so far.
