It actually says water temp but just doesn't give a digital readout of the temp I removed it from overlay and added it back still doing the same fished for 4 hours never got a reading

The unit did shut down and restart after the update if that's what you mean

No I haven't is that what your suppose to do I am pretty new to this lowrance unit?

I downloaded it to my carbon on Wednesday I really like the new look but beware I lost my water temp reading gonna be calling them about this this afternoon let me know if anyone else experiences this
