Thanks for the reports! I would have thought the lake would be up in the picknick tables as much rain as we have had here in north Texas since last summer ;D ;D.

Anyone have a recent bass fishing report on Big Sam? Any update would be appreciated. How high is the water and are they drawing it down? 8-)

I have disagree that most retailers are around the same prices on like items. My wife and I stopped at the new Dick's in Rockwall Tx. on Christmas Eve after leaving BPS in Garland. I was blown away with stiker shock at Dick's! It became a joke between my wife and I about how high the prices were, and that "we can at least say we have been in Dick's now." You people have a ball at Dick's if you want but thier prices are a third again higher than other stores I vist. The price of building in the ever expanding Rockwall I guess?

8-) Hello I'm not sure if your saying the snags are now out of the water now that it's down. If you are hanging up try to "POP" your line. Reel in most of the slack and reach up in front of your reel(about half way to the first eye) and pull some slack into your line(which loads the rod tip). Then turn it loose which causes a back snap of the line and will cause your bait to pop free. If your hanging up below the water you can try the same thing after you have gotten hung up. If you are hanging up on the retrieve the suggestions the others have given you should work. You can also when you feel your bait pulling up on the snag, lower your rod tip and quickly pull your bait over the snag. Just as soon as you get the bait over let it fall back to the bottom.

8-) Don't back down from how you feel because some want to take you to task for saying it! If it's not the truth it's a lie unless it's by accident, then it's a mistake. But they all do it for a buck! Don't make it right, but it is what it is! Note- BASS would'nt let KVD use it in the classic!

Personally at 50 yrs old I don't like the WWE antics and as for his abilities, I really don't know how we made it 30 yrs without Ike. Catch fish yes! Is he the only guy who can? NO! But for all you who believe that abnormal behavior can be made normal just because it excites you, I hope your young fisherman/children don't embaress you in front of a camera. Some sports are not expected to be battle grounds. At best Ike acts as an uncontrolable crazy person. At worse he is! And you applaud him for it? Not me, and when I see him on TV I use the remote. Here's Ike. A small snap shot. Have bass die(rip a light pole out of it's sockit. Light pole has a flag on it( Stomp it. Catch a 15" fish(do a spin for the camera. Catch a small fish( scream and head butt the camera. Any of the above(use the f-word multiple times as well many others that didn't need to be said. Man now that's fishing!
