Went out for the second time today and I am very pleased with the boat. I have fished the local lakes for 40+ years in modified rowboats and dingys with trolling motors and 9hp 2 strokes. This is by far the nicest ride I have ever owned. Everything works as it should and it has everything I need. I know it is not a high end boat, but to me it is like a Cadillac. One thing it really made me notice is that the lakes around here are small, I get end to end in minutes. Looking forward to exploring bigger lakes.

Does anyone know the exact model outboard?

Don’t know why my last post did not show back in April, but I got unexpected call from BPS and am signing on Friday. I am bringing the checklist, but is there anything else I need to think about? Psyched I will be on the water in early summer!

Seriously thinking of getting this boat with 9.9 because so many lakes around here are restricted. Wondering how the boat will move. I am not looking to speed around the small lakes, just get around and fish. Is this a mistake I would regret? If I did go with 9.9 what version makes sense, standard, pro kicker, or command thrust? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Does anyone know about how before boat is delivered you will get serial number? Also, does registration get done by BPS or will I need to go to DEM?

Did a compare and just picked up the Pro Mariner 20 plus from Amazon. I’ll try this out on my trolling motor battery this season until the Tracker comes in. I have been using 20 year old car battery charger, so it is time to upgrade anyway.

Looking at these posts I will eventually upgrade to 3 batteries so am looking at 3 bank chargers. Anyone have. Recommendation? Also where I live many lakes are limited to 10hp so I am thinking I will be swapping 40hp in and out with a 9.9hp. Anyone see any issue with that? Any idea how a 9.9 hp will move the boat?

This site has been so informative. I was holding off on the order but pulled the trigger around March 10th. I am told I will be getting the boat first week of July a few weeks in advance of annual fishing trip. Hope I don’t get bumped!
