  1. I have most of my luck with white or chartreuse and a white swimbait trailer. I know a lot of people use colors that are closer to matching a bluegill but for me it hasn't drawn as much attention as white.
  2. Had a pretty successful week. Fished Tuesday and Wednesday hard and was killing them on the chatterbait and was getting a bunch top-water around sunset. Few between 2-3 and landed one that was 4.9 lbs on a texas rigged craw pitched into some submerged bushes. I was surprised to see how shallow the fish were coming up for the temps still being as cold as they are. The fishing is finally heating up!
  3. Anyone use fish finders on kayak set ups? Do you have any suggestions?
  4. Thanks for the response, nothing wrong with those spots! Originally from the worcester area and have been in the city for a few years now for school. I have fished jamaica, brookline and the charles a good amount and wanted to try something new. And also to respond to DogBone, thank you for the response, I have actually fished Ponkapog a few times with my kayak and had great luck, don't have my kayak in the city yet and was looking for some new places to shore fish. Glad to have found this forum and look forward to keeping up to date! Tight Lines!
  5. Looking for shore fishing options within a 30ish minute ride of Boston that isn't the charles, jamaica pond or brookline res. Any Suggestions
