What's the heaviest you would throw on the 610 Ultima?

Do you use it for anything with treble hooks or is the action too fast?

How do you like the 610m Ultima so far? And what techniques are you using that rod for? I'm thinking about picking that rod up

Drag stack was indeed wet. Cleaned and relubed everything and she is back to being normal ?. Sure did, the reel holds a lot of line.... Line is not digging in. I lubed the spool ring as well as the magnetic brake ring and the sound and vibration of the reel is a lot less violent than in the video so I suspect there is another dry area within the reel

hey there, I was using this reel to cast 3/4oz w/ trailer chatterbaits over grass, my bait kept on getting caught in grass so I was constantly ripping it free and think I may have damaged my reel somehow as it now makes a buzzing / humming when drag is being pulled. Tested out both the glx mbr 843c and jwr 853c in a local tackle shop and wow they are both light and very well balanced compared to my lbtc71mf. Will be using a ci4+ chronarch on it and throwing weightless swimbaits/swim jigs, jigs, weighted and unweighted Texas rigs. Weights I throw are 1/4 to 3/8 and trailer.

If so what techniques do you throw on it ?
