  1. The OG Tatula in my opinion is the most sensitive $150 rod out there. Never used any of the others. Have you looked at the 19’ Megabass Levante? I’ve seen them around for $175. As far as fit and finish it’s hard to beat a MB rod.
  2. I think I’ve decided on the MB FMJ. I’m just concerned it’ll be a little heavy for 3/8oz jigs etc.
  3. Which GLX or Destroyer would fit my needs?
  4. I’m looking for a good sensitive rod for Texas rig maybe even some use for 3/8oz jigs. There’s no where close that has any rods of decent quality for me to handle each to see what I like. I have an Orochii Diablo Spec-R and love it so sorta leaning toward Megabass but I don’t know which of the destroyers would be best. Any suggestion?
  5. When does Tackle Warehouse typically start their Memorial Day Sale?
  6. Hi Everyone. I'm looking for some suggestions on a pretty simple question because I cant seem to make up my own mind. I am trying to decide between a 7'1' MH and a 7"4" MH rod for throwing jigs and Texas rigs. I have decided on the Helium 3 but cant decide what length. Any suggestions and is this a good choice for my intended purpose? I've never owned a Kistler and I am more familiar with the Avid X, Orochii's etc.
  7. Bought a St. Croix Avid X 6'8 M and a Shimano Stradic Ci4 for a Senko setup. American Legacy Fishing also had the Shimano SLX casting combos for $139 with free shipping so I got a 7'2 medium with a 7.3:1 reel.
  8. The compression was checked last fall on cylinders 2,4 and 6 it is 105 and on 1,3 and 5 it’s 110.
  9. Hello, im looking for some advice in a boat I’m interested in purchasing. It’s a 1996 Skeeter ZX300c. It had a Merc 225EFI 2 stroke. Has signature series 10’ power poles and a minn Kota Fortrex. Motor has 800 hours. Are these high hours? Seller is asking for $9k. Boat is in excellent condition.
  10. Hello, I've been a lurker here for quite a while and finally decided to introduce myself. I've been fishing since I was a child and grew up fishing the South Branch of the Potomac, Shenandoah River and many small lakes and reservoirs in my area. I also fish Lake Anna and Smith Mountain Lake several times a year and plan to start fishing some other lakes in that area soon as well. Hope to gain a few friends and maybe share some info. Thanks to all the contributors that make this site a wealth of information for new anglers as well as seasoned fisherman. This place is great!!
