What do you guys think about throwing that buzz so early in the season? I have tourney Sunday and have a 70 degree pattern for this week. My partner has been laughing at me when I tell him I am considering a buzz bait. You guys think it is worth a laugh or worth a try?

Has anyone fished it this way with success?

You are able to fish two different presentaions at once. I have never done it, only read about it. I am just wondering how to keep the C-rig sliding without the fish feeling the weight of the jig, while still being able to set the hook on the jig.

Lucky Craft LVR live!

Seems like just a couple weeks ago I was dove hunting. Now they are headed back north. With that will bring on the early morning coffee on the lake with a Pop-R bite soon to follow.

I have just purchased a new LVR. Next weekend will be its first outting. I am just curious what kind of luck people have had with it.

what is your opinion about the early morning bite? Would you try a buzz? I get to prefish on friday and saturday. I am hoping for a top water bite of some kind.

You must be a politician when you're not fishing. I am hearing answers that play both to the left and right wings (north-south), and you are wanting your part (taxes). :

O.K. then, when I am on the podium I will have to give you your props., but if I skunk out and a guy catches a new lake record from the south end, your name will have to change to cross eyes.

Taking that into consideration, do you focus on water a couple degrees warmer even though there is better looking features on both the S.W. & S.E. corners?

Thanks for the input. I love top water. I think that the morning will start out with a 12" black Booyah with a clacker.

I am wanting to figure out what would work best for the first couple hours of the day, before the lipless crank and c-rig bite turn on.

That has to be a great filling to be in short sleeves and a visor during the first week in february. That's ok, life will better here in a few weeks. What were you throwing at them?

I have a tourney coming up. Water temp should be in the mid to upper 40's. Start time is 7:00 am. Think it would even be worth the time of chunking a buzzbait? Or even a POP'R? Jeremy

The last two tourn. I fished in '06 were both won on a chatterbait. That made a believer out of me. That bait was a must for my Christmas list.

You are wondering if it is a skill worth the while to learn. I think back to fish I have caught by line watching and I have to say it is well worth your time. Tournament fishing proves that just one bite misssed or boated can make all the difference. Jeremy
