Well I have only been using the chatterbait for about a week now and had my first attempt at it at a comp we fished on Saturday. I must say I am very impressed by it. Got bag limit with in the first 30min of the comp but as temperature picked up the biting stopped as well. First cast retrieving it I felt the blade stopping and I the hook and bam. First fish. The way I do it is to play around with dept in the shallow at the start. So air and water temp is still low. I will cast the bait close to shore or structure. And then play around with it. Couple of jerks and then retrieve. Or just a steady slow retrieve. But I want to get the chatterbait to jump around like the video they have on the chatterbait site. Any opinion you guys mite have will be appreciated. The more info I can get the better

I would like to know what your opinion is on this rig and if you guys feel it would work. I have seen this rig before. But I am a bit reluctant to actually try it because the whole concept does not make sense to me.

I would like to know from the guys that have fished this bait for a wile now what they suggest. Retrieve speed Way they retrieve it Basically what they found works for certain condition

LMAO. Can you believe it? The problem is that we do have some nice bass fishing venues here. But unfortunately our government does not see the money potential in the sport and see the fish as alien specie. But we are trying our best to promote the sport. Let me put it to you like this. We don't get that much Bass fishing on our TV channels. Thanks. That was a day i would never forget

I only fish for largemouth as there is only one dam in Johannesburg that has smallmouth but they are scares as well. But will post. Just remember that our fish over here are not as big as the pigs you get there. The currant South African record is sitting at 13.86LB and they not that common to find. My personal best is 9.03LB. And they not even that common. Here is a pic of my personal best:

That has happened to me as well and ever since that trip after every 4 or 5 fish depending on the line I cut of about 15cm and retie
