I am new to the area and have only been out a few times. With all the afternoon showers how does this affect the bite. I have heard the the rain could shut the bite off, who has had luck after the rain showers and what were you using.

Hey thanks for the list of softies ..... Went out yesterday and pick up a few items, some senko, flukes, ribbontails and some frogs. I went out earlier to the baymeadows regional park and threw pretty much everything at them. I ended up catching 2 small 1lbers. Not a great day but not a skunk for my first day back on the water in Florida in about 10 years.

Great let me know, I had already thought about giving Baymeadows regional park a try. What is the best bait to use for these lakes/ponds?

I am currently living in the 295 / Baymeadows rd area. Nothing on the agenda this weekend if you are interested.
