Motoguide x5 breakaway
Does anyone know how to replace/remove screws for the breakaway knobs on a Motoguide x5? I think i might have to release the tension from the 2 springs.. any ideas?

Boat lighting Upgrades
Hi everyone - I have a Triton TR18 that has less than desirable curtosy lights. I am looking for ideas on what everyone uses for early morning/late night lighting, so i can stop using my phone light. Pictures would be great too. Thanks!

Clear Water/Hot
I will say I've been getting hits left and right with a 4" drop shot on a 1/0 hook, but I'm having to guess the majority of these are panfish. The majority of the ones that have weight come off halfway to the boat..

Clear Water/Hot
Mostly largemouth. There used to be good weeds 2 years ago, then it flooded and the weeds haven't came back like before, what little weeds there are look brown. Visibility has to be close to 10'. I've been going early morning to mid day. As of late there has been no wind and the water looks like a sheet of glass. What type of search bait do you use?

Clear Water/Hot
Good Evening - Just got back from the lake and got some dinks, but skunked otherwise. I am up in the NE, there has been minimal rain (creating NO current or draw from the reservoirs), half the month of July lived in the 90's, when the average is 5 days for July. There are plenty more people fishing due to the pandemic. The lakes are clear as day. I am looking for some help or suggestions on what I should try to throw under these conditions to start putting fish in the boat. I try to get out every weekend, and this year has been the toughest with most weekends having 1 or 2 legal bass in 5-8 hours. Any and all help is appreciated!

boat bogging down
Found one hose under the carb broke off, fixed and took to the lake. The boat came right up to plane ran around well, HOWEVER it now planes, bogs down, planes, repeats this cycle. Almost as if it is taking too long to fill the Carb Bowls with fuel. We also noticed gas very slowly leaking when squeezing the primer bulb from the carburator gasket. Could this fix the entire issue?

boat bogging down
We have an 89 evinrude 90hp that works flawlessly 25% of the time, the rest of the time the boat will only gain enough power to plane by squeezing the (already rock solid) primer bulb, usually 3 pumps and its on plane and slows back down.. weve replaced the fuel line from motor to tank, as well as the fuel pump. Problem is still there. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks

Drop shot
Hey everyone - I'm trying to learn how to be successful at using a drop shot and am looking for some help. I have my Medium Light setup with a 1/4 ounce cylinder weight, 2/0 hook, and have plenty of small drop shot baits. My question is, I do not have the best graphs, and am wondering how to be successful without upgrading the graphs. Do I just toss is out and slowly reel/drag it back? Should I be using it predominantly on weed lines or ledges? Any helps appreciated !!

Cowanesque Lake
Has anyone ever fished this lake? I have only fished it a couple of times, and as of late have been having a very tough time finding a bite. I'm thinking this is because of the high pressure now everyone has free time on their hands and are fishing more. Looking for tips on where to target.
