  1. Can anyone tell me what size or type of replacement hooks/rings to get for the 75? Picked up a couple of 75’s Friday, today while fishing I had a hit and missed setting the hook. Got the belly treble hook stuck on a dead tree after and the ring gave out while trying to retrieve it.
  2. Same as log catcher said, far as I know you can fish at night at Taylorsville. Was out there a month or two ago and stayed til 4am during a hot catfish bite, didn’t have any issues. Caught 3-4 nice 2lb bass by the docks as well, I was by the possum ridge boat ramp I believe.
  3. New to the forum, not so much fishing but some days it sure feels like it lol have searched around a bit here in the last week or so and have learned a lot just from reading older posts already which has to be a good sign. The fishing for me has been on and off over the years, use to go a lot more when I was younger but ya get older and life happens lol I've always heard "Take a kid fishing" but this summer it's been reversed, my nephew has lit the fishing fever bug in me after years of not being able to find the time. Although we haven't caught any giants or back to back fish every cast, I have to say this summer so far has been enjoyable with him even on the days we leave empty handed. We've been out early in the morning, afternoon and evening here in Kentucky but some days I can see him get discouraged because we either catch nothing or us not being able to get to the right spots since we're only on the bank and don't have a boat, the lake we fish has trails around it but this heat wave we have had the past month or two has made it hard for me to physically walk the distances. Fishing the same lake mostly, same one I did when I was a kid. We've tried a couple other places but they've been super crowded and have that "free pay lake" vibe with everyone right next to each other lol plus the pan fish haven't been no where near the size in other lakes that we've been to. Hoping to meet like minded people and learn some things while I'm strolling along here, maybe it'll improve our next fishing trip! Have a nice Friday everyone and tight lines to you all!
