  1. i was noticing that you guys have all of your plastics out of the bags. does it matter if you keep your salty plastics and flavored baits like yum in the original packs
  2. how mucn does color really matter. im not sure about how fish pick up the light spectrum but i know that for humans yellow-green is the easiest color to see. there must be a color like that for fish.
  3. okay i know this post is kind of old but what if you are on a limited budget. i only have four reels. a shimano spincast, an abu garcia baitcaster, a rick clunn 6.3 to 1 baitcaster and a quantum energy pt 5.1 to 1. what would be the best wayy to assemble 4 combos that will cover most situations.
  4. how would they enforce the limit of two since the evidence will already be consumed.
  5. no man send them to me. you can send it postage due if you want.
  6. i agree someone should start a petition and while they are at it why not teenage mutant ninja turtles
  7. has anyone tried the new daiwa dead or alive swimbait? it looks pretty interesting.
  8. shimano and quantum are my choice but being on a limited budget i choose whatever is on sale. gotta love ebay.
  9. thanks for all the great advice
  10. thanks for the great info. i dont know how to back a boat in. i tried to back my father in laws boat in and made an a$$ of myself.
  11. Thanks. I was just thinking how the pros always have that guy in the boat that doesnt really do anything.
  12. I am new to this forum and i am also about to join my first bass club. I will be a Non-boater and I was wondering if there are any unwritten rules about stuff like helping in maintenance costs and gas and stuff. I will be glad to pay for gas but is there anything else that goes along with being the second guy in the boat?
  13. i didnt realize how old they were till a little bit ago. i didnt check the dates. dont worry i didnt take it personal. they are pretty old posts. this forum is pretty big its easy to get lost
  14. maybe im out of the loop but i dont get your slang. what does digging up bones mean
  15. tacoman im not sure about powerpro but i know fireline will slip a little on your spool. i have heard it can be a problem with all braids. i wouldsuggest using a mono backing the knotting it to your braid and filling the rest of your spool. there is not much worse than casting your line and reeling for a while before you realize that your line is just spinning around on your spool.
  16. on the question ofwhether its the lure or the fisherman i am starting to believe that it really comes right down to the fisherman. my dad taught me all i knew about fishing growing up but he was very old fashioned. he had two reels, one rigged with a culprit original grape w/ red tail and the other a spinner bait. i have grown up now and tried new techniques and i consider myself to be very competent with a senko. everytime i go home though my dad still outfishes me with the same old worm and spinnerbait. its so dependable fr him he almost seems psychic because he will call a strike before he even casts. i guess there is something to be said for a fisherman that has mastered one technique and use successfully in almost any situation.
  17. Strike Kings 3X version of the senko is more durable and very buoyant which allows for some variationsin your presentation. i like to drop shot rig the 3x version and fish it slowly in stumpy areas.
  18. I seem to have a lot of luck where willows or other treeshave leaned over and dipped into the water creating shade. Especially in the summer.
